YETI Presents: Finding Ground: A Geoff Rowley Story
Спорт
From 12-year-old boy with his first skateboard in Liverpool to 43-year-old professional skater and hunting guide in California, Geoff Rowley is anything but typical. Which is why it comes as no surprise that to stay fit, he now spends weeks at a time deep in the California wilderness in search of Desert Big Horn Sheep. For a man who has spent his life doing tricks in the air, hunting is now the way he stays grounded and finds the inner peace to live happy.

I've never left a KZread comment before but had to chime in. Greg Hunt and team absolutely nailed this. The editing, color grade, and score were nothing short of amazing. Shout outs Geoff for being an absolute legend.
Rowley is such an example to adult skaters and men alike

I agree I'm super happy with myself that when I made the conscious decision to ask my parents to buy me vans I asked for Rowley's as I got older I keep buying only Rowley's they're my favorite I'm glad I gave him money to do this cause I'm from l.a. i love skating and I love California and to see someone who's not even born here but became from here it's awesome to.see.him do this 🙏🏼
The way this guy talks is very down-to-earth and articulate in the way he expresses himself. Excellent film.
This video really taps into the pure emotion behind overpriced coolers.

Rowley has always been my favorite skater. I'm 34 now. I've grown, made a career, married, have children, and moved on with my life. But I still feel something special every time I step on my board. 20 years now. Once a skater, always a skater. Thanks for the inspiration Geoff.

Hey Levi, that's exactly how I feel, too. I am a father, and Per School Teacher and I still feel like 15 when I do my old man skate sessions on my own. Greetings from hamburg.
The way he talks about a spot and skateboarding in general really puts that capital A in Art. He's my GOAT.
Geoff Rowley isn't just a 43 year old pro skateboarder, he is one of the biggest icons of the entire culture.
Thanks Yeti! Geoff was a hero of mine growing up skating. The sport destroys bodies and to do it on his level and still be active is a feat of legends. I'm about the same age and can no longer take the falls. I got into hunting later in life and once again, here I am looking up to Geoff.
As a life long hunter and skateboarder this hits the mark. These two activities formed me as person and father and very appreciative of it. Keep on Geoff!
"The world just moves, it comes alive, if you're patient enough. But you have to put in the time or you wont see any of it." I liked that.

“Energy, time. And you can’t cheat it.”
Rowley is a legend. The fact hes still taking a beating like he does at 43 kind of makes me think he might not even be human.

I definitely clicked as soon as I saw Geoff's name. Epic he is still skating.
My all time favorite. It’s so sick to watch this man evolve into his full human potential.
Never thought I would be watching a Rowley vid on Yeti. A true skate legend! Insane, Respect.

Mad respect Geoff, always been a living legend.
Heck yeah Geoff, glad to have been apart of the Golden years of skating with you, watching Transworld Feedback and Sorry everyday after school. I'm 38 now, and started skating again the last year, honestly I feel pretty great, just takes a while to get back into the swing of things.
I’m not a major fan of Yeti, can’t really afford their products. However, I have so much respect and appreciation for big brands that recognize genuine skateboarding, thank you!
well done Geoff. We met back in the days in Munster .You gave me autograph which i still have..You were my favorite skater in the 90s.Glad you find your way.Keep it up
Rowley is a straight up legend on and off the board! So much respect and admiration for this man!
As a lifelong skateboarder and hunter, this resonates with me HEAVILY. Great to see someone mixing worlds like Geoff here. He is and always will be one of the best.

Thanks Geoff, you are an inspiration and still a rad skater. Epic piece. Just what I needed to lift my spirits and keep fighting.
Absolutely inspired me to the fullest and I want to balance my life just like Geoff has been doing.thanks
Geoff was my favorite skater growing up, and since iv'e aged iv'e quit skating and had to take a variety of different jobs, and have found a variety of new hobbies. I was wondering to myself what he's been up to and decided to youtube his name to see what came up and found this video. Really moving for someone who as followed his entire skating career and kind of fell off from what was going on in the skating world. It's awesome to know that he's still out there doing his thing, but has also found some new passions as well. Great video.
Legend. Great film Yeti! Thanks
Glad to see him doing well.
My childhood hero right here man!
Amazing. Your an inspiration Geoff Rowley.

I just loved this, everything about it! The film itself was well done, I love Geoff's commentary, and the story itself is just a great one! 4eva Geoff♥
Geoff and I share a similar thread of energy. The mountains are where I find solace, but instead of wildlife, I hunt for big mountain lines :) However, that high octane, death beckoning activity should be done in moderation, and a nice hike is always pleasant.
Top man. And love that Scouse American hybrid accent!
I bet that check was really nice!
That's awesome bro 👍 I look up to you in skateboarding.... And now you picked up another hobby that we both to LOVE brother 👍FLIP✌️
Great video. He is a legend. Love to see him taking on hunting
So dope my favorite rider of all time enjoys the same outdoor activities. I had no clue about his life outside of skateboarding..Keep at it mate...If you ever come to the East Coast, we have to do some black bear and whitetail deer hunting
nice Yeti
❤️❤️❤️
Awesome video brahdah Jeff. You were always one of my favorite skateboarders. It’s cool to see you now as a father and a hunting guide. I thought I remember that you were vegan at one point. If you are a meat eater hunting is the way to go. Hunting and gathering is a big portion of my diet now. Cheers man.
Need to get him on Joe Rogan, Such an amazing career and story
