If it's a plastic zipper you can melt the teeth together to prevent the slide from moving past that point.

Worked for me as well. Gonna cover the gap in goop or rubber cement and see how well that protects the seal. Better than dropping another $250.

This is better than using thread and needle. I did fix my battery bag for my scooter. I can leave a small hole for battery to cool down faster

This is why yeti anything with a zipper is so expensive: you're paying for all of the future repairs.

Yep. Tried to fit too many beers. Lol. Saw the beadlock wheel in the back and knew how it happened instantly. Thanks for the idea.

If they don’t honor my warranty, I may have to try something similar to this.

Couldn't you find a light blue zip tie?

This doesn't work one because my thing doesn't fit through it and two I made the bag even worse by doing that because mine didn't fit and every single time I try to put it in it would just fold

The MacGyver fix. Why spend a dollar on a ten cent problem? I like the way you think. If you want to "make it look pretty" just match the tie color to the bag.

why not just glue that part of the zipper? Why cut new holes in it? The glue should stop the zipper from going into the area where there is no teeth.

Also an option...in the end having to repair multiple times is only a zip-tie away.

Oops, too late for that, Add glue to the holes created by the tie instead. Ha-ha-ha.
