I like to cover the surface with ice after I fill my bottle with water, never really done a test. great video.

They are great on the work site I use a round decor container to make one kilo ice block

I expected better results too. I’ve questioned the efficiency of new to old Yeti products in recent times. Would you do a side by side comparison of the 1/2 and 1 gallon to take away any variables?

I did a hot 🥵 test side by side and I think 🤔 it the size of the lid compared to the volume it a great jug but you can get a rambler bottle in the same volume much smaller lid and probably better performance

Yeah that makes sense. I had a look at them side by side last night and because the gallon is wider you can feel how much bigger the air space is on the shoulder of the gallon which would make a big difference too. Do you have a 64oz Rambler Bottle in your future?

@@warwickbourke I picked up a 64 oz Rambler and it out performs the half gallon jug and is half the weight video in the works
