Ive got a lifetime cooler also. I love the way it latches and it out does the YETI in design functionality, weight, and performance. Why pay more???

Thank you for that well done comparison. I just purchased a Lifetime, I was deciding between the Lifetime and Ozark Trail and the deciding factors for me were the solid latches and light color.

This test makes no sense. If u put bags of ice into warm coolers, the cooler w the most mass will melt the ice quickest in order to get the cooler cold. The test should be which pre-chilled cooler will maintain the ice the longest.

Considering you can almost buy 3 lifetimes for the cost of one Yeti. Can’t really justify a Yeti since they both perform about the same.

The latch on the yeti was broken. the cooler didn’t have an equal seal on the lid therefore the experiment should be redone
