Agreed. My best friend had known her dad the whole time but thought he had left her, her mom, and her little brother who is also his. She always resented to him and just found out at 24 years old that it was actually her mom who was taking them and hiding them away until dad gave up. Dad definitely could’ve eventually found them but when you spend years doing it just to be blocked is really hard. Wrong doings by parents that had lifelong effects on two sweet children

I'm so happy that Mr. Jenkins was found to be the father for that girl who lost both parents in the car accident. It really sounds like she is floundering out here in the world with no one to turn to, and it sounds like he really wants to do right by her and be there for her and her children. She's upset because she thinks he didn't try hard enough to find her but she forgets that we've only been living in this crazy digital age for a short time, it wasn't as easy back then as it is now to find someone, we didn't have social media in the 90s. I hope that she will not harbor resentment towards him for not finding her sooner and that they can build a relationship.

I think about some of my exes. Even if I heard they are in trouble or passed away, I am not so confident I would be able to see them or go see the funeral. And if it turns out they had a kid with me but didn't tell me, or tell the kid, it would certainly seem as if I didn't care about that kid.

I think it instantly grew you know. The fact Mr Jenkins was so desperate to have his girl and she on other hand was so in need of her parents was a perfect fit to a puzzle however you look it. Even if the result would have been negative I doubt action would've changed. I also however believe that at the back of her head so was so wanting for the result to come true. When people say you could've found me in social media, I think that's ridiculous. Not everyone is good at finding people or even use social media. All those ultrasound scans and pictures were already enough to prove his claim. Loved the result.

Judge Lauren set her straight. She flat told her because he ws not on the birth certificate he had no rights to see her. Yes he could have petitioned the court for a DNA test but if her family convinced the court there was no evidence that he could be the father and it was not necessary no test would have been done.

When the dad said people came in between his and her mom's relationship, she was saying he could've done more and stayed if they were so in love... she probably has never been in a relationship where it was truly forbidden. Family controlling relationship and keeping their family member away is real, and keeping you away is real, there's only so far that you can go and do because you're not the legal spouse and in this case not the legal dad as well. She must've not heard or seen enough love stories to know things aren't that simple. Thats why there's stories like Romeo and Juliet lol.

That red hair daughter, second case, she is REALLY irritating me! Times are different! Stop refuting what he’s saying just because of your choices in life. If they were alive, you might’ve seen him sooner, and because YOUR MOTHER left him doesn’t mean he had to fight super hard to be with her! She wanted to be with someone else and that’s what she did. You can’t blame that man for not pushing for your mom, but he tried for you. STOP CLAPPING at her anger!!!! She has a wall up instead of accepting at least ONE possibility of him. Your mother never spoke of him BECAUSE SHE WANTED YOU TO BELIEVE THE OTHER MAN WAS YOUR FATHER!!!!!!!!!!! Pay attention from love not HATE!!!!

My favorite part of this video was the father literally repeating i love you over and over. I think he needed to say it as much as she needed to hear it! I think she has his nose, and ears. In the horton case i think she looks alot like her dad. That case reminds me of my life. My daddy passed in November of 2020 and in march of 2021 at 30 years old i found out he wasnt my bio dad through an ancestry test.. i wouldve had no idea this was even a possibility if it wasnt for my dad telling my husband in 2013 that i might not be his. He had promised my mom he wouldnt tell me but he never told her he wouldnt tell my husband. My mother wasnt a very faithful women there was a possibility of 6 different men being my father including who i call my daddy. Thanks to ancestry i immediately knew who it actually was. Im very happy that all these people got their answers. For me it didnt matter whether my bio father was a part of my life what was important to me was simply just knowing where i came from.

Case #2: I hope they sit down with a counselor who can help explain to the daughter why he’s not lying about his fruitless search. Facebook is a reality… now, but lots of seniors from the pre-internet era don’t understand how to use Facebook and what it can do. Also we all didn’t have cellphone everywhere. And if she was telling the other man it’s his and not wanting to mess up that happy home, she’s gonna finagle the situation for her man to move and change numbers. Proof that this is what happened is that they NEVER mentioned the biological father at all and none of the family told her about him coming around, so they were all in on it.
