@@DEFYNIf the F-82 runs tracers belt, it's 90 percent you will be dead, if the F-82 runs stealth belt, it's 99.819 percent you will be dead

In reality, the wingtips and elevator are bullet magnets (especially that lovely elevator). As much as I love this plane, I can’t remember many deaths that weren’t attributed to my elevator being shot off. I’m seriously wondering if it has a broken hit box. I’d pay money for an investigation into the cursed elevator.

It's cause the elevator on aircraft like the p-38 and twin mustang has was seems like less health and a large hit box. Basically, you know the p-51 and how it has two sperate elevators on either side of the aircraft? You know how you can lose one elevator but you can still use it? Yea, you have the same surface area as the p-51's elevator but only having one hit box that shares the damage and has about the same health as just one of the elevators on a p-51. Basically, larger hit box, less redundancy, less hp.

Same with the B25. Instead of its redundant elevators combining to make one, it's just 1 fragile piece.

That’s the flying I need to learn lol in the beginning I’m the yak playing by the basics not turning much and keeping my energy and baiting mostly trying to get them to loose energy but this guy is the pro of basically near stall energy fighting , that’s what I struggle on. One wrong turn or nose up ur toast lol

I'll tell you what I tell other people while flying the Il-2 "DON'T GO HEAD ON WITH THE IL-2" yet people still do it.

sometimes i use stealth rounds so they can’t even see the wall of 50 cal flying towards them. tracer rounds are so fun too

The only time i was heading on an F-82, was by accident. I was hounded by P-51 and a thunderbolt. Got wedged between the two, and turned to the right, only to see an F-82 on attack run (All this at 100m) right in front of me. My measly (compared to the amount of 50cals aimed at me) 20mm cannons of the Yak-3P couldn't do much except register a "Hit" on an engine of the F-82. And in a second afterwards, thousands of 12.7mm bullets peppered my beautiful red plane.

Hey defyn I have a doubt, is the P-51 D-30 a better plane than the Fw-190 D-9? Because I found out that the D-30 is faster and more maneuverable than the D-9 and the D-9 is a br higher than the D-30.

Ik the reason why ppl headon that F-82, see most situations, DEFYN is in a high energy state and the enemy just have not choice they're thinking, "This is over, what shall i do", and the only thing they think was "screw it. just go headon". If the F-82 is in a dogfight, people will guarantee jump on you and just light you up, usually they will jump on you below 10,000ft. information provided by a player that always get show down cuz he dogfight this thing with a spitfire and pays 17k of repair cost everytime until he know Boom and zoom existed

Imagine that m3 mounted on tanks.. especially the earlu tier sherman when mostly the R3 will be present

I haven't gotten the f 82 yet, but the a36 with gun pods gives me 10 50 cals. It does ok in a head on.

I will say the gun/gun pod do take time to get used to but once you do it’s a laser.

Defyn, use this plane with stealth belt and dive on enemies by turning off ur engine. U will get the whole server doing this😂

The only thing I dislike is not using stealth belts, so many people get caught off by them

just turn off the engine before it goes black using the I key, and make sure your throttle is at zero or the instructor will restart and unfeather the prop for you

What convergence do you set for the F-82?

there us no point in using convergence with centrally mounted guns... it's only useful for wing mounted stuff

I played a match with you (you were using the class 3 p also known as big chungus) and 2 guys were complaining that i capped a neutral point with a r3t20 and killed 2 light tanks with it, it was a pretty good match. How good is the class 3 p? Is it worth it?

I watched your tonks video even tho I quit playing them a long time ago due to the poison players, and I really liked it...I have seen other matches on that map and not one of them actually did what you did, so kudos to you...BTW, you have almost 15K subs, I wouldn't let one grump throwing shade at you put you off especially since so many of us enjoyed that vid...I am also wondering if you used the Ju-87 D5 in the same manner as the F-82...Cheers!!

One of the first and most important things that i teach in my channel is how do dodge head ons and F82 is easy to kill if u know it. Dodge the head on, do a downward loop and gg but Is very impressive how 99% of the players don´t know how to do this. Nice video as always, pal!

I work on an intensive care unit for people with covid, it gets pretty bad for some people lol Not that worried about it though

1) f82 starts on the deck with a t o n of speed. 2) f82 immediately went vertical after the reversal to store all that speed as energy. 3) yak stalled out because he bled all his speed in a bunch of turns, was at an energy deficit from the get-go, and then tried to dive again, allowing the f82 to slot in behind (and above). Yak could have tried popping takeoff flaps and hanging out above defyn just a little bit longer after that second set of scissors...Then again, I don't even know if the yak could have been able to get slow enough to stall the f82 out.
