In the recent update it got moved from rank 2 to rank 3 with no BR change. Now the only difference between it and the UK version is premium rewards.

Just a shame the summer and winter events aren't challenge events anymore - back when the CannonStang was rank 3 originally it was my go-to for the air kill tasks in GRB

It's wild how the commentary is not only entertaining but genuinely educational at the same time. I'm glad to see the cannon stang back

As someone who struggled with aim early on, this plane was a god send. You don’t have to land 200 rounds of 50 cal to get a kill. It was huge for a moral booster if your still learning the game.

Recently unlocked this bad lad, it is indeed a godsend for those of us aim challenged

The Hispano cannons at this BR are actually really good, paired with good aim it's so enjoyable like this.

Years ago the cannon stang was amazing. Glad to see it still handles like it did.

i really like the P51 Mustang, especially after they put it up to the third rank instead of the second rank

It really is a great plane in the right hands. Unfortunately, America air mains are about as smart as german ground mains.

Defyn never disappoints, you get basic knowledge how to fly a specific aircraft in every video

You're videos are definitely very helpful for learning air combat in WT. Helped me become a lot better, and I've been using the FW-190 D-13 to great effect in grinding the German tree!

Everytime i see a p51 gameplay it bring me back to when missiles where considered dark magic and the most sophisticated weapon system was the maus with his extra cannon

The change to the damage calculation has really made these cannons more potent. I've had very fun with the beaufighters recently.

I've genuinely improved so much ever since I started watching, recently pulled off a 1v4 in a p-38 to clutch the win! Thanks for the educational and entertaining content Defyn!!

How long did it take you to get decent

really like watching your content because it gives me a more deeper insight into dogfighting and just air RB at all, normally i just flail around and try to get my nose on but i believe my skill has increased since I started watching your tutorial videos.

These demonstrations really help me learn the little quirks of each plane without dying a billion times

Defyn, what I like about your videos is simple. You get straight to the point. On top of that you don't really speculate. You come with facts and show off what has been add, or taken away. Keep it up man so close to 100k!

Last time i played this play was about 4 months ago and it was so much fun, spent maybe 2 days straight playing it. I'm happy its even better now with the real shatter changes. Amazing content as always, keep it up.

This was my first plane with cannons and it was a joy to fly, especially since enemies just stopped existing the moment I even blinked in their general direction

it's also a monster. Last time I took it out during fragmentary shell nerf I managed to critically damage 8 people, imagine with the current Hispano damage that 1taps enemies

Haven't done good with most planes, but once i started watching your videos, my experience and my motivation to grind them increased drastically. Much love from an almost 1k hour player, your videos make me learn so much, hopefully you hit that 100k sub mark much sooner!

I never had much luck with any of the P-51's. Probably a skill issue as I prefer Spitfires. Speaking of Spitfires, Defyn I would love to see how you fly the MK24 vs the jets at that tier. I always have a bit of issue with it since everyone just runs away from me if they don't have the advantage.

Aircraft cannon changes were truly a blessing, the Hispano HE shells used to be so awful that the ground belts were the superior option. P-51 might even be a little too low in BR now

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this plane , maybe I’ll try it out once I finish my researching of other planes , also Defyn thx for the guides and humour u have created in your videos .

The cannon-stang was the first plane i played ARB with and the first plane i learnt how to energy trap someone... i still remember that moment, it was a twin prop heavy fighter can't remember the model but it was pulling up for me, i had recently boomed and now i was zooming. Spiralled above the guy as he tried to follow only to stall himself out and i cranked out a 180, got 45 degrees onto him and shot him from 900m out.

It's always good for your morale when you're featured in a DEFYN's video throwing the match by planting yourself into the ground. Glorious.

I remember when I was new to the game and I was starting the USA tree and found the cannonstang, to this day I still enjoy playing it. I always recommend it to anyone learning to play the game since it teaches them that turnfighters aren't always the best.

I absolutely adored this thing when I first started playin US Air. Nice to see it getting an indirect buff. Might take it out soon.

P38E is also fun as it slaps planes out of the sky and I find it best performing at high altitude as it is an interceptor that literally just controls the top of the battle. Also it has the strongest flaps I have ever seen at its br. Highly recommend u revisit this hidden gem and this will probably help most people who don't know how play this plane properly.

I used to hate props and went as fast as I could to early jets, now that I’ve started watching Defyn I’ve been going back and spading lots of props like this one I’d previously skipped! It’s actually a ton of fun flying props and I cant believe I missed out on so much fun before by just trying to grind past them lol

At 4:07 is probably the biggest example of why you are so good at the game. I'm pretty good at reading a match and deciding what to do to win, but in this case I probably would have gone to help my teammate and try to get the 2/3 kills on the group, and then hope to survive against the Spitfire somehow. But you made the right call to win the match by leaving your teammate and instead focus on the highest energy enemy before engaging the rest.

Not being in the jet part of the tech trees makes me appreciative when Defyn releases a prop video.
