As a bassist with 55 yrs. of playing under my belt, I was honestly waiting for the WOW moment I saw in the comment. Instead, what I hear is a competent player doing an acceptable ok cover version of a great Chris Squire line. BTW there are some Squire riffs omitted in his line for whatever reason. Nice job, but WOW? Really? He’s a competent bassist who fulfilled his role. Best of luck to him, but let’s not go overboard. How are musicians ever going to improve when you praise them before their time is due. Say something nice, but save the praise for when it is deserved. Otherwise, you end up with players who’s egos are bigger than their talent and they never reach their full potential.

Admirable job by the whole band! First I want to say, at the opening of the song I was wondering, "woah, what's this bassist going to do?" If you know any of Yes, they had a legendary bassist. I'm old and listened to Yes in high school. Chris Squire was one of my musical heroes. This bassist gave him some serious respect - really impressive work on this song by your guy. The guitar opening was a solid signature, and he kept up the part throughout the piece. Keyboard was super solid with no mistakes.
