yeah that was really janky math. subtracting it is the additive dmg difference with itself, not the total dmg differential. it's still hard to say how much of a dmg increase it is anyways with spec classes because meter generation changes dmg output in hard-to-calculate ways. just test in trixion for spec at 1200 and at 1600

I'm so happy you talked about accessory quality... so many people don't realize that 100 spec can = 15% more damage. I see people with 5-10% all accessories just desperately trying to get 5x3 or 4x3 when it would be better to just get higher quality 4x3

Thanks for the video, very insightful! The one thing I would say is that in NA currently, 5 Class / 3 other accessories are still hella expensive, and getting a perfect one is just as hard (in the current market) as getting 5 other / 3 class one. I look forward to when we actually have a more stabilized market (17:50) .

Had an argument a couple months back where we couldnt kill phase 2 vykas in time. Raid member accused me (im a shadowhunter) as being the heavy person since I had 3x3 while they had 4x3. People just look at engravings and it can be frustrating. I had three levels over his gems, 15% more on my weapon quality. Tried showing I do more damage but dude was just being an idiot. Then pointed out my stone was one grade level worse than his, but that was just HP and I was never dying..

I think people got too engrossed on the whole must have certain number of engravings, that they dont look at other key aspects of the players build

@@nightman922 this is why i really hate playing with pub room, like when my team are up we can even clear kakul raid with 4x3 1475 team without any issue but those idiot pub room keep looking at our engraving and be like "omg u need 5x3 and at least 1490+ to be able to do this raid so we cannot accept u"

Hey ATK! I've seen some interesting builds from some KR players where they go 5 x 3 +1 as Keen Blunt, Adrenaline, Cursed doll, Grudge, Hit Master and +1 Drizzle class engraving. As they only have level 1 class engraving, they go 4/4 for Sword skill and Weather skills. I know this class is built around amassing Spec for weather skills to do more damage but would the loss of a few Weather skills be made up by the overall 16% damage boost from Cursed Doll? (Taking future gear into consideration)

So I watched the video and at 19:20 he asks what should the stone engravings be and people instantly said keen and hit master and I’m sitting here lost on how they knew that? I don’t understand what makes the choice on what engravings to put on the stone besides not the books ones.

Cost of those engravings on accessories. Will be cheaper to build in long run since they are the more expensive ones. Just market knowledge.

I agree people should be able to plan their builds by now, but I find that NA struggles to break away from the WoW mentality of copy and paste without reading. The number of Sorcs I see running Critniter without an 8 CD gem on DD is insane. They argue it's ok because they run 3 Quick recharge and that lets them double DD...problem is, you sacrifice QoL outside of your enhanced state. I spend a lot of time crunching numbers, testing in trixion, and talking to other theorycrafters/experienced players before I commit to a build. It takes more time, but it can end up netting more dam.

relic its cheap in KR, cause their mains dont use relic, they use ancient, that its a new rarity of accesories. so relic for them its like our legendary accesories

yea this is the main problem with waiting so long to release classes. Not only do you have to wait for the class you want to finally release, but even after it does you are looking at a 1-2 month wait time for affordable accessories.

I settled with a 4x3 + 1 on mine with 1673 spec

what do i need to buy? i got KB maxed out and gonna go for adren now i might get 5 drizzle and something else like KB or grudge since it might be cheaper What do i need to buy for accer?

That's why I find these videos while 'okay' in terms of what to search for when our market reaches the same level (which btw it never will thanks to the initial RMT inflation) it will never apply to NA.

if I have a bt zerk whose abilities actually don't scale with spec at all, its still worth to use the gold to get high quality just for the bargen alone and some dmg on the z?

Nah when you have 12/12 books and 7/7 stone you can be 5x3 in na/eu with 20-50k if you don't go for max quality obviously
