Yes - I've Seen All Good People (Live At The Apollo)
Available Now: mercury-studios.lnk.to/YesApollo
In 2016, Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman brought together their incredible talents and long experience of working in Yes to take to the road for a series of concerts celebrating Yes’ musical legacy of the seventies, eighties and nineties. Yes featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman toured first in North America and then brought their live show to the UK in early 2017, including this performance captured at the Manchester Apollo. The band are in superb form in front of a sell-out crowd who are clearly loving every minute of the show which includes classic tracks such as Roundabout, Owner Of A Lonely Heart, And You And I, Hold On, Heart Of The Sunrise, Rhythm Of Love, I’ve Seen All Good People and many more.

Wow, Jon Anderson’s voice has barely changed in 50 years. Pretty incredible.

He can't, I think it's been really heavily mastered post production. The whole concert is well out of line with reality, I think there has been lots of over dubbing or something.
@MusicVersa

There's no evidence of that. The lead vocal line is very clearly taken straight from the board and is not overdubbed or autotuned.

You're living in a dream world, Yes have never sounded like this on any of their live albums. The quality is better than yessongs, which is completely unrealistic. There is even overdubbed crowd noise. If you think JA can sing like this today, or even in his mid 20s, for a full concert without any bum notes or flat tones or anything bad at all then we will have to disagree. Not that I didn't enjoy it, it's just not them live IMO.
I like the way Trevor approaches playing iconic tunes in his own way. Rick Wakeman is as cool as ever and when you're that cool, you can wear a cape if you want to! The most striking thing is Jon's voice, better than he used to be... Incredible!

Jon Anderson's voice. What a man. What a voice.
What a voice. And still hitting the top of his range after 50 years!! That's amazing.
FLAWLESS. Wow, this is LIVE. Absolutely magnificent. These guys are actually better than they were 50 years ago - if that's at all possible

right? and Jon still singing in the original keys
A joyful message of a happy song by YES, the best band ever !!!!
Jon's singing is so effortless. What a voice.
Im glad the keyboardist is still rockin' his cape from the 70's !!! Yaayeah !!!!
Remarkable how YES can rotate through all the different personnel and still sound like YES, but with one exception: There is only one Jon Anderson. Accept no substitutes.

Yeah, I guess. I saw them twice in the ‘70’s and have watched everything I can find on KZread. To my ear, the drums and keys are the only plug ‘n play positions. It takes Anderson/Howe/Squire for me to fully appreciate them.

What an absolutely beautiful song. So many great songs from this truly iconic band.
How can this be. Mr Anderson sounds the same as I recall when I 1st heard this song released way back in 1971 some 50yrs ago when I was fifteen. Brilliant!
Jon's voice is as spectacular as ever!
Wow absolutely one of the best versions of this song I ever heard. Jon Anderson's voice was magnificent and is definitely a one-of-a-kind

The first time I ever heard Jon Anderson sing I fell in love. I'm still in love.
I saw Yes twice in the Seventies. It wasn't enough.

Think of the thousands who didn't. I saw them in the UK as often as I could.
old school rockers are REAL talent at its best . no vocal adjusters or fluff . just awesome. Todays music does not compare
I’d watch any version of Yes with these 3! You can’t have Yes without John Anderson, imho.
John's voice incredible. Please live forever.
From the brillant 1970 yes album. What an amazing album, still love it to pieces.
Jon...I love you man. It's quite simple. As a vocalist who's not blessed with your high register...ah, what the hell. This was beautiful. Inspirational and aspirational. Loved the Newcastle gig. It was emotional man. Joyous.
I love this new version. Trevor Rabin together with the bass and drums makes this really rocky. Combine that with the still brilliant vocals of Jon Anderson and the fantastic Rick Wakeman makes this all sound so fresh.

Jon Anderson o mito , canta dimais desde que era bem jovem.. YES lovers forever...
67 years old , still listening to my alltime favorite Band . My first Concert ever ..."close to the edge" tour,,, Billy Joel opened for them. I was in high school. The Landmark Theater Syracuse NY. Seen Every top Band in concert since, nobody ever topped them.. Thanks Guys.
There's such a gorgeous warmth and fluidity in this version. Bravo!
Jon is singing better live than he ever has. Fantastic! So great to witness the upward arc of greatness in later years.
Jon looks AND sounds terrific! He's 73 years old -- and turns 74 next month!
Cuanto talento que ha perdurado por siempre...Maravillosos ❤
Waited 40 years to see yes, and i was there second row and it was amazing, I'm even on the video....twice! including a close up! Well chuffed.
How refreshing to hear the Good People melody in it's natural thriving elemental form. I'm so satisfied that Yes I'm on my way. The circled STAGE in Chicago was the last time I felt this unity. Thank You Music inspires all creativity.
The most tasteful keyboardist ever. Rick always picks quality sounds
Love Lee Pomeroy on bass. Grinning the whole way through.

I used to know Lee Pomeroy when he worked at Rock Bottom music in Croydon south London, he’s a really nice guy and a great guitar player as well. He also showed me how to play the mellotron intro to Watcher of the Skies by Genesis. He is one talented guy.
I saw these guys during their tour. Great show.
11 years of age, quite a while ago now. First album I bought was the Yes album. I have been a huge fan ever since. Close to the edge has and will always be my favourite. amazing band on vinyl and incredibl live.
T Rabin ....great... Everyone else... Just as great..thanks for the post...
Pure Heaven right here, nearly brings me to tears for I'm right back in the seventies with this gem at the Boston Garden1974 ...great memories
I'm blown away at how good this is. Great memories with Yes from my youth. This is a nice finish for them.
My favorite Yes keyboard is and will always be Rick Wakeman! What a player! Greatest one with Patrick Moraz!
Trevor Rabin Rocks!
What a great voice
Any incarnation of YES was always magical for me. Asbury Park,NJ 1970 at Convention Hall,my intro to YES.
Just noticed the bass player also plays with Jeff Lynne ..great band yes always liked them ✌️
Love this!! Saw them here in Montreal a year ago and it was magical! Can't wait to receive my Blu-ray next week :)

Alex Seubert congrats on catching my attempt at humor. The drummer’s actual name is Louis Molino who has a striking resemblance to the character Walter White in the series “Breaking Bad”. Louis is very talented and deserves better name recognition on the current tour web page.

Man, don't you think Steve Howe is desperately missing in this song? I adore Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman, and also, I adore Bill Bruford, the guy who originally recorded this one. I've never been a fan a Alan White, but now I see how harshly I've judged him. The guitarist is a ghost in this song. It's almost like there's nothing but a robot or a pre-recording there. This isn't one of _those_ songs, you know, like Heart Of The Sunrise or Close To The Edge... This is just Your Move, and yet how bad this sounds without Howe is maddening. I'm not just saying this: I would be ashamed to go on stage and perform like that. I would rather never be famous if my only other choice was to murder Steve Fucking Howe himself.

Kauan R. M. Klein thanks for your comment. I agree wholeheartedly that Steve Howe’s guitar work is desperately missing and I’m not a fan of Rabin’s style. I’m happy to see Jon singing again even if it’s in a fractured version of the band. I’ve been a Yes fan since the early 1970’s and have seen them more times than I can count. I’ve met Howe, Squire, White, Sherwood, Downes, Davidson, and even Oliver Wakeman when he filled in for his dad. All were very nice and each talented. My favorite band members were in place when Fragile was released many moons ago. Ah, the glory days! Take care my friend.
I see Dr. Rick still sports an awesome cape.
A great band that is highly underrated
This is truly amazing.
Chills
The best rock band....Ever!!! These guys put their music 50 years !!! Before everything!!! Their music was so advanced and complicatedthat.....Is the only Rock band that "Never could be cloned"
So happy and singing with Jon ...

I couldn’t just sit in the audience like that, I’d be up dancing and clapping...I like the base player. Forget his name, but he played for Steve H.
From the first time i heard the Yes Album, i was hooked. In my college days i literally wore the album out. I remember it like it was yesterday. So innovative and talented. Yes made an impact on music.
Wow!!!! Incredible sound
QUE VERSÃO SUBLIME! Tks Jon, Trevor, Rick, Lou and Lee. Tks God for the music!!!!!!
Wow those vocals! Great harmonies!
Reminds me of my much younger days - could turn the clock back for a re-run.
Keeping the memory alive. Fantastic. Thank you Jon Anderson for all of the great memories. Remain in light.

Lovely..
What auto tune? Bands use backing tracks live... who cares. No one complains whenever bohemian rhapsody is played live and the vocal section is pre recorded... just be appreciative they’re still around making people happy. To all the negative comments, where is your live blu ray concert?
@jasonkreisler1432
5 жыл бұрын
Well, to be fair, Bohemian Rhapsody is actually impossible to do live without backing tracks. All Good People is completely doable with everyone (except Rick) singing harmony. OT: I want to hear Rick try to sing just once. How bad can he be? Bob Dylan bad?
