this is actually the vibe and sound of Kpop music in 2nd gen... that's why I like it and a 'newbie' Kpop gonna hate and triggered with this song hahaha I think this song probably a hint the new album will have a influence from 2nd generation idols

If you’ve watched the audio snippets you’ll see that wife was actually inside the trash bin folder. And that’s because it didn’t fit the overall concept of the album. So they definitely chose it as the pre release on purpose.

The analysis on X blows my mind. The lyrics are very risque, mainly talking about a stereotypical wife's roles: cook, clean, sex. But in the MV, (G)i-dle lip sync none of that lyrics, they only did at the last part where it's they "don't wanna wife"

This is only my theory but I think I know why they didn't lip sync They are saying the opposite of what they mean Like seriously those reactions they make in the MV are like sarcastic smiles I don't know how to explain this honestly it's hard for me to explain._. And the only thing they lip sync is the ending

I've got to say I want to see if Bookish theories has something on this cause those lyrics can be taken a few different ways. The being stompped on and not lip-syncing is like being do your job and be quiet and they're saying no thanks I'm not going to be a cookie cutter wife (why they're all the same) stuck in that 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
