Their official channel released a “case file” video. Probably you can check that out. A few important points. Shuhua played two roles: one is the detective who tries to solve the arson/explosion that left 1 dead 1 injured. The other character, the victim from the abuser, is widely interpreted as a metaphor for Soojin. The MV isn’t edited in time sequence order. The explosion was staged to cover up them killing the abuser. The scene in the corridor that you’re confused about, I believe is their testimony to the detective (as you can see it was shot in a way in those conspiracy films, when everyone freezes only Shuhua is walking around and inspecting). And then, the ending shot, where victim Shuhua reveals her face without wounds (or recovers from injury), I believe it’s a metaphor for Soojin making her comeback last year. Like she’s got her revenge to the injustice, and all the girls were on her side all the way. It’s been the most blatant reference to Soojin since she left. At 1:31 of the MV, you can see a paper on the wall where four sets of dates were written at the bottom. Those were birthdays of Minnie, Yuqi, Shuhua and … Soojin. 1998.03.09. And in the final scene of the case file video, there were six ppl in the framed picture. The subtitle says “I decided to become the last accomplice.” So they’re six.

Yuqi had that look on her face because the attack on Shuhua had just happened and Yuqi clocked the dude with her guitar. Minnie is the upstairs neighbor and she is running to see what happened. Miyeon is just showing up after being called by either Yuqi or Shuhua. Soyeon is the maid and she is on the scene after the attack. Soyeon is remaining cold and calculated while watching Yuqi suffer. Together, all of them decide to just end this guy (the revenge) and torch the place to cover any evidence. There are also many references to Soojn so that the video can be interpreted as Shuhua playing the part of herself and Soojin. Soojin gets attacked by the public (you - that's why the attacker is first person view) and killed off (removed from the group). The group decides to fight back against the public with their music (Yuqi's guitar). I would say that (G)I-dle's critique on Korean society regarding the treatment of idols and feminism qualify as them fighting back. This all could foreshadow Soojins return. The ultimate revenge. We'll have to wait and see.

Yuqi lives in front of ShuHua's apartment, she has heard the fights between the guy and ShuHua, when she witness the fight she has a moment where she freezes and Soyeon stares at her like "so what are you gonna do? you knew this is what happens between them", then Yuqi reacts and goes to her apartment, picks up the guitar to defend her friend; Dr Miyeon is still in the hallway so enters after she hears the conmotion, Minnie? idk she was leaving the floor so why she came back and whats her relation is really not well defined, she lives the next floor over ShuHuas apt. so at first I thought she was the wife to the guy and ShuHua was her lover

the whole MV it’s a reference to Soojin, MV begins whit Soojin (Shuhua) in the 2021 Easter Night when Soojin’s abuse false accusations starts after they release I burn, that’s the explosion, then we have Soojin( Shuhua) looking through the binoculars to all was happening, Minnie it’s Soojin the famous and successful idol, Soyeon it’s , Soojin trying to clean her self of all the false accusations, Miyeon represents the investigation itself, then we see Yuqi like Soojin alone waiting, and fighting brave against all the people to wanted to damage her name and career, we see in the hall way, confusion, impotence, pain, angry and we see how Soojn( Shuhua) it’s against the wall In the same way that Soojin stood whit her hands in her pockets, we see 6 woman’s, we got a Shuhua( Soojin) in a room full of papers, 6 fingerprints, a document with the dates of birth of the girls and Soojin's birthday is in second place 09/03/1998. That scene depicts Soojin looking for the truth despite the fact that the agency and many fans left her alone, she kept fighting, and although Shuhua collapsed at times on the floor, Yuqi alone at the window, Miyeon confused when she sees the number 5 in the elevator, Then we see Minnie holding the flame (rage/hope), Yuqi playing guitar (Soojin dream to be artist) and that's when she decides to take revenge. Enter the scene of the mistreatment, Shuhua is Soojin being dragged and beaten by the media, fans, citizens, and all viewers in general, that's why the change of vision on the camera, it's you're the one who hurt me (it's the implicit message) it's you who left me alone, it's you who deserves to be destroyed, by the way the hands are not of a man they're from a woman, we all know exactly who. This MV comes out just the day in Soojin turns 100 day of her re debut, 100 days of revenge, her revenge is her smile and her love, her art, you thought I would die, you thought you had destroyed me, No, I kept dancing and I kept laughing, I kept singing and I kept growing, like the phoenix among the flames was reborn, two more references, Soyeon wipes the blood from her mouth exactly with the two movements that Soojin did in QueenDom in the put it straight performance, and we see Shuhua at the end with her face covered in bandages two debut references of Soojin with her mask in Latata, and the first video he released when she comeback whit Black Forest

For the first layer interpret.I think the meaning of Easte is 'to be a new beginning of life' that Shu has a new birth after she was abused for a long time and finally the M/V just tell the world....If oppression and violence are still ignored. The more violence will increase in this world. If you see sub related withM/V ... the story seem flow by the lyric. But I think, many parts and scenes don't make sense such as the ordering of a killing shot didn't make sense, ut not safe for them from fire, in case they plan to do. (By copycat the Mumbai case). It should be... Miyeon stabs with the pen then Soyeon pours gasoline on the person and pours it all the way to Minnie, then Minnie lights the fire. And There shouldn't be a scene where Soyeon drags the body. And wipes his bloody face. The bloody face should belong to Miyeon... ... in the hallway freze scene. At first I thought, it was the incident where everyone told the police, but when I watched the case file M/V. Soyeon said she wasn't home and Yuqi said she was just in her room playing the guitar loudly, she couldn't hear the sound of the next room.... So Yuqi should not collapse into a hallway scene because she was the one who got into the room she should get out of the room. And related from hallway scene the guitar should be in the case. Because she walked in carrying a guitar case.... The script writing and editing didn't make sense. The Hotel and apartment that Minnie got in, looked different. In case She can She's room and Minnie got in by binoculars. and the decorations in the hotel/ apartment too old school style , but fit the themes. And when you will abused someone you will not open the door, right.😂😂 Finally, the Last scene, if Shu is still in the same room ( compared with the decorations), that room should not have the wall and windows like that, it should be the door open to the balcony. And for the clue in the case file. the Tinder box should be burned in fire. But the story is Minnie drops it when she falls down at the steps and Soyeon picked it and hide it. However, this M/V is good for practice the detective of views and they succeed to make interested from us. And sure love the songs especially the Soyeon rapped as you. As I get the purpose of M/V like I say in the first. If there's the one violence, it will be make violence more.

I want to point out something I got from this MV. Some you might heard or read or interpreted it by yourself already. Let's make it light and fun. - The story is about an investigator who is working on a case of the explosion that led to a tragic death of a guy and a woman who survived the explosion which in fact was the one who murdered him due to a toxic and abusive relationship with the help from four other women. One business woman, one musician, one police and one housekeeper. - Shuhua is clearly playing 2 characters. One is the investigator and one is the victim. The victim seems to wearing something similar to Soojin's Black Forest video so it might or might not be Soojin that Shuhua's playing. During the scene where the victim is lying on the floor, next to her was the used cigarettes which was one of Soojin's allegation that she smokes cigarette before (Which she did admit that she had tried it once but she didn't like it) - The police is in fact was involved in the scene as well but due to her duty, she has to go back to work immediately right after the murder and act like nothing happened. It's the same during the dark era of (G)I-DLE where Miyeon was forced to go back to work immediately right after Soojin's allegation start and even tho she knew everything, she can't say or do anything at all. - The business woman started the scene by arrived home and try to relax may or may not interpreted to be Minnie during dark era where she went back to Thailand to be with her family. - The housekeeper helped destroy the evidences including the business woman's match on the staircase and the body. might or might not telling the story of Soyeon during the dark era where she was working behind the scene mostly. - The musician iss singing and dancing while the room is on fire might or might not telling the story of Yuqi during dark era where she released her solo single album and went to participate in Stage Boom. Everything was on fire but she had to smile and laugh. - All the women saw the victim got abused through peepholes might or might not means the girls saw what happened to Soojin during dark era but can't do anything. Same as watching something from peephole, you can see what's on the other side but you can't do anything at all. - The investigator was not present during the murder and has to go through it later might or might not telling Shuhua's story during dark era where she just disappeared from the media to practice and improving her skills. It's like she was not there but in fact she's always there. This might be the reason why they chosen Shuhua to play two characters. It's like she's not ther but she's actually always there. - So what exactly is the revenge? I think the real revenge is that (G)I-DLE is back and stronger than ever. The real revenge is that Soojin is back and stronger than ever. Same as the victim at the end when she removed the gauze to reveal that she's actually doing fine. There is no visible pain. She looks sad and lonely but she's fine. That might be the real revenge of this whole story.

The first time I was confused at your point. Whatever I think I may be the scenes that they told the police what's happen (See Shu (journalist) walk to see the incident at the hallway and everyone else stopped.)

I love the MV so much, it's good. The storyline is good too But ngl my only distracting thing is just how Miyeon stabbed the guy. It's just not too realistic. But most of it is so goodddd 😍🥰

A brief breakdown of the story, shuhua plays two roles, a detective and a victim, detective shuhua is trying to figure out what happened in the apartment where the explosion happened. Yuqi, Minnie and soyeon are all aware of what’s happening to victim shuhua. One day shuhua fights back and they come to help, which is where miyeon comes in as she was in the apartment building at the same time. The girls then cover it up as an accident where one person dies and another is injured
