@@asifeqbal7316 "wali samajhatey". "Samajhna" is important. He says he would still be NOT "WALI" but people will "understand" him like so! The question of spoearance and essence as in Karl Marx. Ghalib says he knew he was NOT Wali but would be so only in appearance if he were not drunkard. Appearance is being emphasised. This world goes by appearances. But he's happy with the hidden essence that is drunkard. He is true. He speaks truth.
