Love his attitude about living the double life as a writer and a scientist.

@@NeuralNetProcessor true hahaha it would feel like you're a double agent or something, I dunno man honestly I think it would be a fun job you get to see the great graff the city has to offer, clean up messy spots... Maybe even overcharging big corporations but the downside of painting over someone's work would suck, would have to get proper flicks for them if it was fresh too aha

To manage your civilian career from a career in graffiti has its challenges. I admire Jurne for keeping a balance in both worlds, at least for now. Some of us have to choose one or the other, but I would hope if it’s the civilian career chosen, the person does not look down on the graffiti culture like they’re any better. Never forget where you came from. Respect to all those active and non active writers out there. We all share a common story…

Very thoughtful and well spoken. Nice to see this in such a stigmatized culture.

What a good dude. His concept of "I don't want to ruin anyone's day" is so contrary to a lot of how I would approach art as a kid. Really appreciate hearing this interview.

@@CooklanBeats sometimes they document certain writers depending on how bad it is in some cities and if they finally catch you they've got thousands of dollars worth of damage in photo evidence so that can add up to three years. Also if they know who you are then they'll probably wait till you've done enough damage so they can lock you up good
