    As I mentioned before we have the identical car except I have ash gray leather . But I do think the black out wheels look nice . I wish I would have gotten black on black sometimes but a black car is a pain to keep pristine . I truly feel like the white stands out at night because of our pearl paint job . Other than that I don’t see myself ever going with white again . I also added PPF film protection almost 2 grand , best decision made . Headlights hood , fender , rocker panels , mirrors and rear bumper edge at the trunk opening . I still miss my old accord sonic gray but my car had so many quality issues and this new Honda feels solid built , quiet , and the suspension is wonderful on this new one

    I think I will only always go for white cars now. If unless it’s German and I go with like forest green or something lol. I didn’t do PPF simply because the whole car for 6-7k was def not worth it and 2 I didn’t wanted to do just in parts cause then I hate how some older cars look new on the hood and like the doors would would show the age and so on😂. I was like either all or none😅. I ended up ceramic coating it tho. Plan is to move on from this after 6-7 years. Because I had tints, chrome deletion, ceramic done I didn’t wanted any extra expense as that would be put over what I had kept in my mind to spend on it post purchase so I said NO😎. But I love that you did! It’s def worth it

    Same car but, in Radiant Red and Gray interior! I hardly need to use the brakes in this thing. Never have or will use the cheapskate button. I always keep it in normal and use sport for merging onto freeway. Brake hold is excellent for stop/go traffic and drive thru’s!

And i agree with you the sound system is good but the problem is the bass in the back when volume high the board in the back vibrates its probably thin thats why we hear that noise should have been a recall looks like people havent complained alot the 10th gen had the same issue with the sound too

    I think the accord is nice in this Gen but they should have put a panoramic roof and better seat posture. They could have put a bit more of power in too for long cruising and passing. Nissan change their CVT in 2019 to a better one sourced from the same supplier as many other Japanese brands.

Lol When I said I did I meant “I had it professionally done” haha. my tints, my window chrome deletion and full ceramic coating costed me $1800 in total all professionally done at a body shop. My side mirrors, decklid spoiler and front bumper vents and black emblems were accessories I added from Honda. Does that all help? Haha

Drastic change. Immediate difference was comfort, quality material touch points, silent ride, amazing MPG (for 19s), space, etc. I knock the speakers but again, you got the bose :P

    Has anyone been experiencing issues with their BT??? Been having issues with callers hearing themselves and/or navigation in the background (only fix is to transfer call to my phone then back to car), during a call speaker sounding static like. I have Factory reset the system and Unpaired and repaired again, no help. IDK if it’s the car or my phone but never had this issue with my previous accord’s BT… Also is it normal for the A/C to make a “winding” noise when changing the airflow modes.. it’s super annoying and it sounds like one of the wind-up toys from McDonald’s.

    Ай бұрын

  • @kyron2092
    @kyron20926 ай бұрын

    I was seriously considering one of these as my next vehicle being an accord lover, but I found the seats to be awful. The seats were firm with no 4 way lumbar support, no lower back support, and a ton of pressure points. I had little complaints here and there about the vehicle, but that was my only deal breaker. Other than that, I was disappointed with how loud the interior was. I guess it's my fault for expecting it to be as quiet as a Mazda 6, but it still produced more tire noise than something like the Kia K5. For a 40k car, tire noise should be virtually nonexistent. I also have to disagree with Toyota and Honda being more premium than Hyundai and Kia. Better reliability reputation? Definitely, but when it comes to feature content, seat comfort, sound systems and road noise, the Korean twins have the Accord and camry beat. Recalls aren't quite indicative of reliability especially since Toyota and Honda have exhibited a fair amount of recalls over the years and still have a few active ones now. I've seen the camry with 8 speed transmission failures, pano moonroofs not closing, and I've seen tons of blown head gaskets and fuel pump issues on the previous gen. Luckily, I haven't seen major issues with this 11th gen accord with it being pretty new. Just little things such as interior rattles and infotainment issues. Other than that, I really like the look of this car in the sport and touring trim. The interior is spacious, which I love but it looks too similar to the civic's for my comfort. HOWEVER, build quality is excellent, and the car feels tight and more rigid than the previous generation. Not as tight as a TLX or some entry level luxury cars but it's pretty close. Ride quality was my favorite part about this new accord. You instantly feel how rigid the frame of the vehicle is. No, it doesn't ride quite as soft as a Kia K5 or Camry, but it punches back with how it balances being firm and soft simultaneously. I always say Honda has the most balanced suspensions in the mainstream segment. Ending off on a positive note, the car looks great with everything you did to it. With all of its shortcomings, it's still a class leader and one of my top 3 recommendations when people ask me a great midsizer sedan to get.

    If you go to a Honda Dealer and inquire about there being no spare tire the salesperson will tell you that there is absolutely no need for a spare since you have a repair kit and an air pump so you will never need a spare even in a million years. You might innocently believe the salesperson. Then you are stuck at the side of the interstate at 2AM in the middle of a rainstorm trying to use the repair kit and the pump but you don't have a jack and you can't fix the tire. You call emergency road service but the phone recording says to call back during normal business hours. You get back into the car to wait until 9AM but at 4AM a drunk rams you at the side of the road going 100MPH. You are dead. I have compassion for people and feel a sense of responsibility to get Honda to reverse what has to be the worst decision made by a car manufacturer is in automotive history.
