It sounds more like a head voice than a falsetto. Noticed it too, but very minor for a powerful live performance.

She belonged up there with all those Queens. This was such a good platform for her to showcase her talents to those who have yet not been blessed by our Queen Morissette. She slayed, as she does. Pageants in the Philippines are something else. This was overall such a phenomenal show. You are correct that this Miss Universe Philippines, as in we were picking our candidate to represent Philippines. This was also the first live show in a few years because you know, pandemic. And these ladies have so much more going for them and I fele that MUPH is diverse.

Voicewise, many may excellent singers out there and here in Ph. The thing that seperates Mori from others in the Ph. is her humility, her bigger inclination to make her own very good music. The part where she got a little pitchy, she probably wasn't able to hear herself well. I watched another version of this from audience perspective and the crowd went crazy loud during that part. So yeah, it happens. But she did more than other artists could offer so ALL GOOD!!!!! 💖💖💖

She is also just a small adjustment away from a squeak or two also. How she has a natural rasp that she sings around most of the time is also a mystery to me. A couple of things would unfairly impact her participation in this affair. One, she is married. Two and this grinds my gears, but this has chased me around my whole life she is short. When they pull back and she moves among them you will see what I mean. I know that everyone goes for those high notes and for good reason, but listen to her going low. I'll bet, in her own best key she could match the low to high to whistle that Dimash does. I'll bet she could be talked into trying it on one of her behind the scenes videos. Do you also realize that she had just gotten home from her U.S. Tour that from what I understand, and saw, was a massive success. I live way at the top northern end of California. Look for Eureka. Which if, you didn't know, is the hometown of a famous singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles. I know Mori has sung at least one song from Sara, 'She Used To Be Mine'. She also starred opposite John Legend in the T.V. production of "Jesus Christ Superstar". Oh, back to the too short comment I graduated High School at 17 at 5'2.5" and a shade over 100lbs. so while I know it is easier on girls to be petite, they still are subject to the same stereo-types. Unfortunately I was the poster child for small and not built for abuse that I received going out for football, basketball and baseball. I also had the desire but not the voice for singing. I was naturally adept at singing harmonies, but didn't have the desired vocal quality to sing solo which is what every singer wants no matter what they say. Sorry I have terminal ADHD and go off the rails very easily.

Yazik it is Miss Universe Philippines to choose who will go to the main contest. If I am not mistaken the previous year's Miss Philippines also won the whole thing.
