If you buy extra you don't need it and if you don't.... this happens. The blanket looks great. I love and hate making a blanket with little squares, can't wait to see it finished.

I made a touque from the scarie yarn it is very nice to work with.

When buying clearance yarn BUY IT ALL. Lol I bought up the yellow and pink Bernat Baby yarn in the store closest to me last month when I saw it was clearanced. The blue was already gone. I did find a couple white mixed in with other yarn on a 2nd trip. (I also got the Tencel yarn that was clearanced from 2 stores. I found a lot of stragglers in with the Truboo. Whoohoo.) I always look around the area for stragglers and also in yarn that is the same color because people throw stuff in a bin if it’s the same color. I found impeccable in with Cozy Wool a while back before the cozy wool went clearance. I’ve been buying the Cozy Wool on clearance to make Christmas stockings. I also just bought over 100 spools of embroidery floss because it’s clearanced at 25 cents. Only one store had the sign up so that was a bonus for me at the 2nd store! My daughter and I are going to embroider on clothes and I’m making some art to sell at a local artists consignment shop. I bought the Baby Sport at Walmart in lavender tonight. Even though the shelf sign says 7.48 like it’s a regular price the receipt says it’s clearance because it was 10.98. I’m going back tomorrow to buy the other lavender that’s way in the back on the bottom shelf at that Walmart lol Since the yarn is B1G1 50% off this week at Michaels go back and buy the same yarn on sale and return it with the other receipt where you paid full price. I do it all the time. So do the employees. I bought Baby sport in Michaels today and I lucked out. There was a bright pink (petunia) that they don’t carry in store and online you gotta buy a 3 pack. I also got the tan colored one. I’m on a baby kick with yarn lately. Lol I also bought some new yarn. I got birthday money from my parents this week. Blew it all on craft supplies, and then some. We hit Joann tonight as well. Lol
