Glad I found your channel. I like how you take your time to think things through and start going through it step by step. I tinker with snowblowers occasionally and have encountered one that the gears are slightly out of adjustment as yours is. I hope soon to get time to get that one out and give it a going over. Newly subscribed. I enjoy the vids I have watched so far. Keep up the good work and thanks for the great info.

The OLD MAN at EP wishing you and your family a Happy and Safe Holiday Season. Hopefully this one turns out to be a profit maker but we have had many of these multiple section augers come in with brass worm gear failures simply because if something hits between the two auger sections normally the two shear bolts do not get sheared and damage is done to the worm gear. Once this happens it only gets worse from there. Possibly in your upcoming video you can point this out to your viewers we would suggest staying away from this style snowblower simply for that reason. Additionally the Techumseh carbs have a small vent hole that needs to be clear or the engine will not run properly. Normally this is never an issue but we have come across these being plugged on a few occasions. Looking forward to the next part. Oh if you want to support the front bent area of the auger housing install a drift cutter on each side going down to the bent area, you will need to drill a hole to mount at the bottom but it works great providing additional support to that area. They just do not make them like the old days!

That's true. Thanks for the idea. I took the starter apart and the housings for all the brushes were melted. Take care.
