This is the concert that made "Marching Season" so famous. Yanni actually recorded an earlier CD on copies that were given to family and friends. That was how I heard his music first: from one copy given to one of his friends.

I love how Mr. Adams includes the crowd in his solo. The jump to Felitsa's face, as she shines with joy while clapping along is masterfully done. (Kudos to the editor and camera operator for that one!) Mr. Adams is a true performer and artist!

The first time I ever heard this song was 32 year ago on Sunday January 22, 1989.....Super Bowl Sunday!! It was the Super Bowl 23 intro music on NBC to open the pregame. I had recorded that opening and have always loved it. Until this day (December 30, 2020) that is the only place I’ve heard it. I finally decided to look it up to see who performed it. It’s amazing to watch this guy. Never heard of him, but he’s simply amazing. Thanks to him, I will always use this song to get me pumped for a big football game...haha.

@@pamwoods7564 At least, there ARE kind and peace-loving people in our world. It takes all kinds of people to make our world what it is today, Pam. Each plays whatever role we were meant to play or so I believe. Now more than ever before, we NEED those life-lines if only via that moment when you feel the power of prayers on your behalf arising. It touched my very soul to see that as I almost passed in hospital, there were people praying in a very patterned way at mosques in Turkey. I had written here on youtube that I really needed prayer, but I didn't say why. The power of love for one another has been shown repeatedly on Yanni's website. As I have told others, there are hearts that are not ready to allow my spirit to leave this earth. I am very thankful that you respond to my responses to Yanni's posts as I know that some of them over the years were misunderstood. Love and gratitude is felt towards many. Thank you for befriending me here on KZread.

@@reflectivemuse1223 Indeed, at least "there ARE kind and peace-loving people in our world;" they just seem more difficult to find today as the other kind seem to drown them/us out... and some of us are struggling to survive, even thrive, in spite of the others. Yanni, his music, thoughts, philosophies, behaviors and community have, and continue to be, that life-line for me and I am very grateful to have discovered it all this year in particular, even though I have been a music fan for many, many years. Don't discount the power of good and positive energy that permeates this world, in addition to some people's belief in prayer. Wishing you well. Peace and love to you.

Truly positive energies do exist in our world. Unfortunately there are those who pretend to be very positive while pursuing negative actions in secret. As all of us have seen, there is much evil in this world. Thank "the gods" (borrowing pagan terminology) that we have excellent music to distract us and touch our souls, beautiful art, something new to learn every day, the laughter of a child, the beauties of this earth, the wonders of flora and fauna, and so many other things that bring smiles or little joys our way. (That's a lengthy run-on sentence, but at the moment I really don't care. I am not in edit mode at 2:30 am.)

@@reflectivemuse1223 I could not be in more agreement with your "run-on sentence" (per your words)!! Once again, I am very grateful for your generous and helpful education and advice on accessing my daily, momentary escapes from the terrible things that are going on in the U.S. and world today. Yanni and reading are pure and much welcome distractions for my breaking heart and aching soul. And I do know what you mean about the pretenders and hypocrites in the world... Do take care and be well and keep up the interesting insights and posts!

Beautifully remastered Yanni. Watching you and Charlie - the respect that you both had/still have for each other shows. It must have been a great sense of comfort for you to have Charlie with you at the Acropolis. The friendship is so very clear.

Phenomenon the drummer. Amazing!Like all of them she is excellent in the music orchestra. But I know this great band is an extension of yours, united in your own magical world of your music. Dear Yanni ⭐
