I spent 36 in policing and listened to Yanni as my outlet to relax and enjoy pure talent. I had the joy of watching him live in Toronto. I own everyone of his albums. I now run a retreat for police, fire, EMS and military members suffering PTSD. Guess what musician they all get exposed to?
I started listening Yanni when I was 10 years old. I remember that in our national TV, they played waltzes in 7/8. I couldn't believe such kind of music exist. Its so beautiful. Its so colorful. When I was 15 I had a good grade in my class, and my family want to buy me anything that I like and I asked them to give me the money. And I run in to our local music shop and I bought Ethnicity and If I could tell u. I was so excited and I listened Yanni throughout that night. Yanni, you have no Idea your influence and impact on my life. You are with me in a very difficult time...I dont know how it happened but your music helped me somehow to discover my hidden talent... Thank you... And Love u...

It´s almost my same history, i met him when i was 10 and when i turned 15 TRIBUTE was the only gift i wanted. so my father bought it for me. and since i saw on tv his concert at the Taj mahal my only dream when i grew up was to go to tah mahal, 20 years later i went to india just to be in that beautiful place where Yanni made this beautiful music. He certanly has changed the life of a new generation.
My sweet Yanni, you have spent most of your life spreading Peace, Love, Joy and True Happiness all over the world. Your ability to transmit the message is unparalleled. Wherever you are performing, we feel it and understand it across the globe. This last year, when the world has needed an abundance of this, when the world needs more Yanni, touring has been forced to pause. You could have taken a well deserved vacation. Instead your creative genius mind found a new way to deliver. I know I'm not alone in wishing I could find an adequate way to show our gratitude. This has been an unusually difficult week for me. The one thing I reminded myself daily was "Hang in there - Yanni Monday is just around the corner." That thought gave me strength and hope and helped me stay positive. It also made me deeply appreciate your finding a way to help all of us through this last year. Sending you a big thank you hug and so much love.

I am 71 with 2 kinds of cancer. There are no words to express what you and your music mean to me. I fall asleep to it and wake up to it. It transports me to beautiful places where I can escape the cancer for awhile. I love you and your music. Thank you so much. 🥰🥰

I came to the US in. 1993 and saw your concert at the Acropolis on PBS. Then I saved money to buy the DVD for my mom in Vietnam. She loves it very much. She passed away last year. So, everytime I listen to your music, my mother image pop up in .y head. Thank you for the music.
I am learning piano because of you Yanni. When I was little, my dad always played your songs for me on piano and I played violin to accompany him. I love you and your music so so much. You have brought so much peace and so many good memories into my life. Thank you so much for your music. Meeting you in person would make me so happy. 🤗

Yanni will always have a special place in my heart. My father listened to every single album since as long as I can remember, Yanni was his favorite. I had always dreamed of being able to bring him to a live show to experience it - though sadly I lost my father in December 2018. While in hospice we had Yanni playing in the background for him and at his funeral we played Yanni as well, just as he would want it. Yanni, if you read this please know that your music has touched millions of people in various ways and that you are a true blessing to the music world. The comfort your music brings as well as the moments remembering my father coming home from work to sit in his chair and chill out to you will always be something that I cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you.
