Life Style, I hope you get that chance. I feel the same way and am very very fortunate to have met Yanni and was able to ask him a question during a live show in Georgia (US) in the late 90’s. Incidentally, my question for him was would we ever be able to hear him sing. His answer was, “nobody wants to hear me sing!” We were all thinking, YES WE DO! He has since sung at least a few vowels on his recordings. I lost track of my father when I was 10 years old. But we were fortunately reunited 25 years later, 10 years before he went to heaven two years ago. Your father was a good man to instill the love of music in you.

Hello! I don't mind answering, as it may help someone else some day. It was due to parent's divorce and the passage of too much time without communication. It took us a long time to connect, perhaps because so much time had passed, and we were both stubborn and afraid to be the first to reach out. But when we finally did, (which was arranged by my sweetheart), it was amazing and we were both relieved but sad that we had wasted so much valuable time. Not every one will have the same experience, especially if the situation involved abuse, which mine did NOT. But for me, it was one of the greatest and most healing reunions I could have imagined. My advice is to cherish the time you have and never let family or good friends be separated because of stubbornness, pride or divorce. Be well. ​@@user-jj9qs3pv3d

Have you been to Santorini, I have, twice, once before all the tourist stuff took over, maybe 1999, and once after. I was there 10 days in 1999, walked all over the island, it was my heaven on earth, I have never felt so at peace, healthy and full of joy....Yanni's music puts me back there every time I listen to him.............and I was so VERY FORTUNATE to see his performance live in Melbourne FL, over two of the most joyous magical hours of my entire life,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I cried his music filled me with such joy and serenity,,,,watching him brings calmness to, as he is so at one with his music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard moonlight sonata third movement 50 times and this one 50 times. And I loved this much more! Beethoven's a legend but in this composition Yanni has surpassed Beethoven. Yanni is the legend God will surely have his special blessings for. Thank you so much! You bring a smile.

My late husband, Trond, emulated so much of your love of music and YOU. A language I do not know; but, Trond knew it... and he knew you, Yanni. Your Heart. Your Music. Trond died in 2011, in my arms at the age of 63 of a "widow maker" heart attach. I remember his white suit back in 1995.... Trond's music studio, his CD's "Journey to the Heart" and "Gifts of the Ocean". Trond was a studio musician with a PhD in Nuclear Physics from MIT. (and, yes, he was humble). Trond Bjornard. He loved jazz and wrote a song special for 9-11. Yanni..... if you are for real.... please know that life is short. Please don't let your mathematical mind rob you from heaven's greatest gifts. Love. Oh, so much love. As great as you are, you are only an example of the author of your life. THANK YOU for your sacrifices and your sufferings to show us love in music.
