Really good game where both teams battled for every pitch and every out. Bo Bichette didn't have his best game, but his 12 pitch walk really set the table for knocking Rodon out early. Kikuchi showed his prowess on the mound even shaking off some cramps.

So much to love about this game. Schneider's diving catch really shows how much they wanted this win. And Kikuchi looked like a Cy Young candidate with the way he handled perhaps the most daunting top-of-lineup in baseball.

Beautiful baseball game. It had it all, great defense, pitching, good baserunning and good offense in critical moments. The fans (Bluejay fans atleast) 😅 got to enjoy a very fun game. ⚾️

I just recently got back into baseball, I was into it as a kid 20 years ago so I have no idea about the current players. Yankees is my team (along with a few others) I had no idea what kind of team the blue Jays were, after seeing this game I'm impressed with the blue Jays! 🥰

Jays looking really good last 5 games, tightened up the runs

Juan Soto Kept that offense going for all 9 innings and the Blue Jays couldn’t get him out 💥 3 for 3, 1 run, 2 RBIs, 2 walks and I Hr.

Beautiful game, great win. Fantastic pitching by Kikuchi, awesome to have Romano back! P.S. When the Yankees lose, Baseball wins.

The Jays' pitching is making a turn for the better. The hitting and base running has also improved. And that defence is on FIRE!!! If they keep this up they'll be a real problem in the AL East!

I still loved watching the blue jays before, but these are the jays i've been waiting to see, its a stressful game but a interesting and fun game. If they keep playing and pitching like this, they could go to 90+ wins❤

Stanton suffered a decent hamstring injury and then a pretty bad quadriceps injury likely from the hamstring issue. He missed a ton of games and adjusted how his baserunning. It's been pretty well covered, since 2021/22 he hasn't ran the bases at full speed.

Good pitching from Kikuchi. A much needed win for the Blue jays. The Yankees are more than likely going to trade Gleybor Torres with the way he's performing. I would say trade or get rid of old anchor legs Stanton, but the team is stuck with him until the 2027 season.

Romano always gives me fits. His saves are pretty much never the 3 up 3 down types you want to count on from a closer. I can see his role as stopper maybe ending soon.

I watched the whole thing. It was a slog… the Blue Jays were grinding out at bats, fouling off pitches like crazy and just staying alive in the box, which wore down Rodon early and even Weaver eventually. Fouls won’t make the highlight reel but that’s a big part of why they won this game. Yankees on the other hand just couldn’t touch anything from Kikuchi and didn’t get anything going until late in the game. Judge still having a really poor year and Volpe with 4 strikeouts didn’t help them.
