Yankee Clipper and Logger’s Run are 2 of my favorite rides at great America. They are always fun and nostalgic

The first time I rode both of those rides I was 6 years old. Brings back memories

for some reason the water makes it less scarier and it’s like the height of some other coasters just no loops

California's Great America removed so many of their classic Marriot rides. Its a shame. The one in Illinois still has its Whizzer too.

I remember when six flags Great Adventure had something similar to this one, it’s no longer there, but they still have the classic log flume . This looks like so much fun. Wish I was there too!🤣🤣🤣

Rexstick Adventures Rexy it's been freezing! Lol. Our two weeks of winter has bought some wonderful rain, so I did some gardening and embraced it. I didn't think we were going to get a winter this year. I've been sick though and spending lots of time looking like death in bed. Today I feel another sore throat .. It's never ending, I'm over it. Despite all that in good spirits!

I have been on Yankee Clipper way back in the 80s as a kid. When I revisited Six Flags Great America in 2010 the Loggers Run was open, but Yankee Clipper wasn’t. I was bummed. I wanted to ride again for memory’s sake. I also remember way back in the day both respective flumes used both drop chutes; where each of the boats would alternate which chute they went down. I wonder why each ride uses only one chute these days?

Yeah that was my first time riding it and I have only heard of loggers run, I like this flume a lot. Yeah I was wondering if they used the chutes diffrently at one point thanks for the info😎 and thanks for watching, btw I like the view of the park while on the ride very cool

They used to have a lot more boats when they stopped having so many they welded off the second side on both flumes it is not uncommon to have a wait on both of these during peak summer days of 90-120 minutes Roaring Rapids too and before they demolished it Splashwater Falls too!

He was having the time of his life XD

Always go to the back if u don't wanna get that wet

I got on it in summer 2018 it was so fun! I went yesterday and it was closed. What a bummer, it was sunny too. Logger’s Run and Roaring Rapids we’re closed as well. All three water rides! What’s happening? I hope they don’t close them down 😢

Last time i went on this sum dude hit on me... so i havent gone on in a bit..

Does this still close at 7p.m.??? Was there last year on a 98 degree day... and VERY crowded....Ride closed at 7p.m. when the park closed at 10p.m..............That's the Six Flags way!

well i left right before 9 pm. it was a weekday and i think they closed at 9, but all the rides were still open. six flags can get really wierd also your right the six flags way is thier own unique way. also they were very crowded until closing they should of stayed open later 😎 thanks for watching

Maddi Neary they closed them down in a lot of parks a week ago. shutting them down for the season. I guess they are getting ready for fall. 😪

Rode on this with my friends. I purposely sat in back because my friends wanted to get the most wet. Somehow I still ended up getting wetter than both of them.

California’s Great America got rid of it and Logger Run.
