Ғылым және технология
Is the tonearm on your CEC-manufactured turntable dropping fast? This can include Yamaha, Marantz, Realistic, Hitachi and many other branded turntables. We will replace the silicone dampening fluid.

Hey there Turntable Guy. I have watched many or most of your videos. The importance of this is I have a Marantz 6110 that would not shut off. Your videos helped me with the confidence to turn it over and take a look inside. The fix was very easy. The 6110 now works fine. Thanks.
I really appreciate your time and sharing of your experience
Your video helped me to repair my Yamaha YP-B2, thank you!
Great Job, learning New things 👍
What size weight should the counterweight be? Mine didn't come with one and I can't find the details.
good video and very timely as I'm working on a CEC built Lafayette T-2000 which looks like a very close cousin to this one. Would you please me what was the viscosity of the silicone fluid you used. Thanks, Peter

I've got a very similar CEC made Fisher MT-6010 that I have serviced, but I can't figure out one issue. When it auto-returns, or I hit the Reject, everything works normally; the tonearm goes to the rest, the motor shuts off. However, if I don't manually stop the platter from spinning, the motor will kick back on. The same thing happens if it is off and I manually turn the platter, the motor will kick on and it will keep spinning. I don't know why this is, as there is no auto-start on the table, and I can't get it to stop. Any ideas? Funny enough, this wasn't an issue at all until I lubed the center spindle bearing as the platter was dragging a bit and would stop turning before the motor would kick on.

Check whatever arm is actuating the micro switch that turns the motor on/off.

@@TurntableGuy Hey, thanks for replying. It is hitting the switch and shutting the motor off. But after a few seconds the motor kicks back on if the platter keeps moving. Is that supposed to be a momentary switch, so it has to be held down? You're probably on the right track though. One of the two switches has to be getting activated/deactivated after the return by the platter moving somehow, right?

@@TurntableGuy I figured out later that day that I had reinstalled the double-stacked cam that actuates the microswitch under the auto-return mechanism upside down. So, the switch under the tonearm and the switch under the auto-return we're not being actuated together.
Great video, good to see I am not the only one who takes spiders outside vs killing them xD
Mate you should have remove the dustcover before anything else or you would screech it.
Would you recommend me buying one for 125.00?
