Credo che ogni commento di valutazione sia cmq soggettivo. Penso sempre che ogni strumento vada provato dal vivo xké ogniuno di noi ha un suo gusto ed un suo orecchio... Sei bravissimo.

Still best at kind of Jon Lord sound. But new rotary makes night and day difference! Killer rock organ.

@@germanshepherdlover2613 unfortunately not... the organ section on the new CK is derived from the Reface, so one of the worst hammond clone ever 🙂

@@marcoballa will an update sim become available? I am pretty much ditching my Roland RD-88 for the CK-88 when it becomes available. I find the PHA-4 Roland action too heavy and p[refer the Yamaha GHS keybed. RD-88 organs and sim are so so.

@@germanshepherdlover2613 at the moment no news about future upgrades. and, apart from the leslie simulation, the sound generation of the Reface/CK is far away from the YC 😞

Marco, Have you compared the update in the YC with an A-100 or B3? Sounds great through headphones . 🎧 might be time to retire my Fantom synth. Love your demo's. 🇮🇹

Ciao, thanks for comment! Yes, I have my C3 hammond and 3300W leslie (with 122 preamp) as comparison... This YC upgrade is great but obviously still far away from the real thing 🤣

Dal confronto mi sembra emerga che abbiano fatto un bel passo in avanti. Di Hammond e cloni ci capisco poco ma lo yamaha in generale mi sembra quello con i suoni più sottili e striduli degli altri... poi magari è stata una scelta fatta per uscire nel mix senza però strabordare, dato che lo hanno messo in una "stage keyboard"

ciao! grazie per il commento! in generale preferisco YC, ma semplicemente perchè non sono mai stato un "appassionato" delle Nord (le ho provate e riprovate ma non sono mai riuscito a innamorarmi). è solo mio gusto personale, se riesci a provarle di persona ovviamente riesci a farti un'idea migliore :-) se sei abituato a hammond vero, questo clone di YC ha un problema importante: il trigger del tasto è a metà corsa (e non subito all'inizio come sull'hammond e su tutti gli altri cloni) e ciò potrebbe infastidirti. anche in tal senso consiglio la prova di persona per valutare al meglio il "feeling" :-))))

Sinceramente mi sembra ancora un po' finta la nuova simulazione Leslie della Yamaha, specialmente sul Fast. Non ho modo di valutare il suono "di base", invece. Non sarà più il migliore, ma l'engine del C2D (ergo di qualsiasi Electro dal 4 in poi) è a mio avviso comunque molto valido: non lo preferirei al Mojo, ma, personalmente, l'ho preferito al Legend (che ho rivenduto principalmente per gli overdrive pessimi e il Leslie con un bell'effetto "spazioso" ma un po' strano...) e sicuramente anche al YC (che però, diamo atto a Yamaha di avere finalmente una simulazione decente, al contrario che in passato, e di tanti altri come Korg e Roland). A volte credo che l'emulazione B3 della Nord sia un pelino sottovalutata, specialmente per l'ottimo overdrive (punto debole del Legend, che ho posseduto e, da quel che mi è parso dal video, anche della YC): quando uscì il C2D Marco ne diede un ottimo giudizio, pur con tutta l'onestà intellettuale di dire "Non amo le Nord" e che, almeno oggi, vi sono clonewheels migliori (il Mojo e, ancor di più, l'HX3). È passato un bel po' di tempo, ma il motore del Mojo, ad esempio, è rimasto quello, miglioramenti a parte. Qualche piccolissima modifica l'ha apportata anche Nord, in realtà: basta confrontare un Electro 4 con un 6. C'è sempre un piccolo margine di gusto personale, motivo per cui ad esempio Joey DeFrancesco, uno dei migliori hammondisti jazz al mondo (tra i viventi, s'intende...), usa un Legend e lo ritiene il miglior clone. Ad un certo punto, in particolare a parità di simulazione Leslie, le differenze tra i vari cloni diventano evidenti solo in studio di registrazione e solo alcuni aspetti, a mio avviso. Io ad esempio me ne accorgo specialmente quando dirotto il VB3 II, o il mio Electro, nella simulazione Leslie della IK Multimedia. Sento qualche differenza rispetto al B3-X, in particolare sul C/V, ma farei fatica, anzi non riuscire, in un blind test a dire "Questo è peggiore/migliore di quello". Esattamente come tanti Hammond d'epoca suonano in maniera diversa. E allo stesso modo, restai stupito quando provai il Legend connesso ad un Leslie vero (un 122, mi pare): non trovai nulla che non andasse nel suono, in clean, non sarei riuscito a distinguerlo da un Hammond vero, che pure conosco discretamente bene. TL;DR Entrambe sono ottime tastiere per chi suona l'Hammond ma non può fare a meno di altri suoni e non vuole/può usare un tablet o laptop in live. Personalmente consiglierei Nord per l'Hammond. Ma se anche le ritenessimo alla pari su quel fronte, le library delle rosse svedesi sono al top: dai pianoforti acustici ai Rhodes, fino agli esclusivi sample originali Mellotron. E se consideri che restano per anni e anni compatibili con gli ultimi sample, credo che l'Electro offra molto, molto più di una YC.

Ciao e grazie per il commento! Sì, immagino ci siano differenze tecniche/pratiche nella costruzione interna di Seven e Gemini, ma in sostanza il generatore a modelli virtuali è lo stesso sui due strumenti 👍

Does the Yamaha CP-73 get this updated Leslie sim and organ sounds? I know it's more piano based, I've just seen one for sale for a good price.

Ciao, yes this is the (very) important issue of the YC. You need to press the key half way in order to have the sound! If you are used to a real hammond (or to all other clonewheels) this is really annoying...

I and others have sent feedback to Yamaha to make the organs have the high trigger point… should be an easy update 🤞if they’ll do it. B3 is a lot about the touch…I’m really surprised they didn’t include that. Just ordered on and am gonna A/B it w my SKPro and keep the winner 🤦🏼‍♂️

@@steveraschella8233 Just FYI the YC61 has waterfall keys so I'm pretty sure the response is at the top of the key on those.
