OC: Liking the R6M design. Yamaha definitely needs to make it officially. Kinda surprised you didn't ask for a new variant design concept based on Holly. I think a custom R6M Holly red and white livery would look amazing.

I think you should make it closer to the older 2018 r1m or even the 2015-2016 one with more brushed aluminum. Still looks amazing though

The damage makes sense if the rider was on the bike when it tipped over. His boot is what dented the exhaust can and which is the same reason the tail has no damage.

Agreed Dylan, in 2020 i sold my 2007 VFR 800 Vtec with 230 000kms, which equals 142.195 miles. At 200K I took it to a Dyno shop to see its performance. Everything was within factory spec. Factory horsepower and torque figures. The bike did not burn any oil nor had starting issues, and it showed factory compression in all 4 cylinders. Even the Dyno guy was stunned, especially given that i tracked it quite regularly. I also have a K5 Gsxr 600 and same thing, lots of track days, commuting etc, has 60K miles on it now, absolutely no issues, yes ,you need new batteries, and rectifiers every now and then, and 5000km oil service intervals, but that's about it. So yeah it's funny to me when ppl say 22K miles are a ton. It is nothing for a Jap bike. It's just been run in. LOL

OC: Favorite thing is it runs! Fingers crossed for the clutch. Brushed aluminum swing arm might not go with the first blacked out design. Might need to pick one with some more brushed aluminum to match.

i like that stitching near the windshield gives it like a Frankenstein look... However since its NEEDED instead of just a nice visual probably not as good :P

9:40 I'm gonna hop in here and tell you that that's not necessarily the lever itself. Idk about those bikes in particular but I have a 2011 Honda VFR800X which has the combined brakes abs system, and it didn't matter if it was stock or aftermarket levers but my front brake basically acted the same way that R6's brake is. So it could simply be a bike thing or maybe a fluids thing idk.

Go for the brushed aluminium tank please, that's a "M" signature as you might notice from all the "M" range.

Question and hopefully Chase will see this: I want to get some new fairings for my bike, and was going to go with Monster Fairings. I wanted to get a custom set of fairings done but it seems like everyone I’ve emailed with from Monster Fairings can’t seem to even write an email that makes sense in English. Are they reputable enough to trust with my money? Or does it seem like they cater more towards KZreadrs that have influence to get good reviews?

OC: Never ridden a R6 before, so never been excited for one, but I am excited to see how this turns out. Also agree with the other comment that it sounds like you need another season of WBRG for an R6M in red and white

Very nice project. In France we don't have anymore the R6 road legal due to the pollution regulations. You can only find a R6 RACE for track racing. 💪

hey if you dont want to change that exhaust you can actually ship the muffler back to Yoshimura in california and theyll put a new sleeve on it and repack it if needed!

12:30 The reason why you cannot move the adjustable lever is because it is locked in place with a nut at the bottom. It's quite literally connected to a small cog that has different size grooves in it. You must loosen the nut to adjust the lever. It's made that way so you don't accidentally change the adjustments while going down the road. For the "Sharp bits"; just use a small file to smooth them out.

Just push the whole lever forward to allow clearance and then adjust. There would be no point of quick adjusters if it were locked with a nut!

Swingarm damage comes from a swingarm extension i think . Motorled from motor i think of turning the rear wheel on a bikestand , so abs error

Advanced years have relegated me to more upright naked bikes for my sporty riding but looking forward to watching this build.

My cbr600rr fell off trailer when strap broke. It cracked aluminum frame in half. Definitely totaled it. Same damage as what you have but frame cracked inhale. So CHECK for cracks!

I also think I know how you could put the electronic ohlins suspension on the r6. Me and my friends have talked about it in depth because we want to build one for endurance racing.

You're wrong about the engine, the R1M is exactly the same as the standard R1. The R1S had non titanium engine internals but I think that was only on sale in 2015, not many were sold so they discontinued it.

I wish you could've ridden my R6 before I Rode it. I have some OEM rearsets if ya need em.

The seller might be the second owner and bought it with 20K miles on it. So taking that in account, he didn't ride it much, but the mileage is still high, and was saying the truth..

Where on this bike i can find the relay flasher my indicator wont work not even show in my dashboard

I'm thinking maybe it was a sloped driveway? The bike was facing downhill so when it fell it "fell forward" down the driveway and saved the rear fairings

oh and please tilt the decal to match the line of the tail instead of it being horizontal. Look at the motogp bikes design. All the graphics slope up to the rear. Thats why removed the stripe on the R6.

I just bought a stock Raven red 2019 Yamaha R1 with 2,900 miles for 13k at my local dealership. I scored bro

The 2017 model has a small issue cranking. Have to give it a little extra gas when it's cold. Yamaha acknowledged it back then I believe.

Hi, I think the R6 is better blue with silver accents and blue wheels, with some carbon fiber inserts, since it's a Yamaha.

I have seen built R6's with "636cc" built engines pushing 145rwhp. EDR Proformance in Oregon.

Oc: The 1st photo but with the brushed aluminium tank from the the last photo and the brushed swing arm cause its the same as the new R1M. Also motonosity have mentioned about a startup issue on his yamaha r6 on one of his old videos.

I feel like you need to install ohlins front and rear suspension, forge wheels, and akrapovic titanium exhaust system on tho bike. This would be a dream bike and a legit R6M.

If I were to see the different concepts at a dealership concept 4 would be coming home with me.

OC: I do like the color but why go SOO close to the R1M.. why not make it a little more unique and swap colors to like a red or purple. just like the panigale with that green. as for the overall plan that is great. Side note I too am a huge fan of the stitch job done on the fairing. shows that person really cared about it looking okay with out having to shell out the cash to truly fix it.

Man this season bike puts me in a pickle. I love chase's content. I love being able to support his channel and everything thru WBRG. I think bike will be super bad ass, but it is not for me. I know in the absolute slightest of chances i won it that i would sell it immediately. So idk if i still support just because i like chase and like supporting him, but maybe take a chance away from someone who would actually enjoy this bike or not support and give more chances to someone else.

The uneven clutch actuation in more likely due to a worn out clutch basket, not the friction plates.

The adjuster on the levers has a lock nut under and its on to tight
