Yamaha TW200 New Rider Review
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
A quick little video to showcase these two fantastic bikes. Please subscribe if you like the video. We'll be taking these ice fishing this winter!
There have been a couple requests on the custom windshields. They're called the Jimbo Shield and can be ordered through Trailwaycafe. You just email Jim and he'll send you product information and how to order. His email is trailwaycafe@cox.net and he does amazing work. I picked them both up last year.

Actually, I traded the Africa twin for two bikes any of us can use whenever we want. My boys take them by themselves, we go and ride together, and soon I'll be teaching my daughter. These are family bikes but since they're TW200s, they'll be around for many years and I'm sure I'll be handing them down to the next generation too.

I'm in the same boat, I used to have a BMW F800. It was too heavy in the woods and the trails I wanted to go...Here you go, I bought a 2021 TW200!!!
Great video. I’ve had my TW for a year and really enjoy riding it on the forest service roads in the cascade mountains here in Washington. For a 68 year old guy that want to escape doing yard work it’s awesome.

Hello from Robbinsdale. Thought I recognized the lake in the background. Went to your previous videos to verify. I'm 64 and have had my TW since 2001. No issues or problems at all. One of my great joys in life is back road and trail riding my TW in northern Minnesota.

Hello fellow Minnesotan. These bikes are terrific and I'm glad that you've had years of service from your mighty TW!
Great review! I like the added windscreen with the bark-busters ...looks cool!

I have been looking at a Yamaha Tenere 700. The only thing better than one bike is two, and the only thing better than two is three.
Initially i was saving up for the tw200 as it was the bike i practice on during motorcycle class. After doing some comparison between the tdub and the xt250, i decided that the xt250 would be better choice for me. Still love the tdub though. Both are pretty much great bikes IMO. Thanks for sharing.

Great video! I used my TW200 to teach my kids to ride. It’s such a great bike! I don’t think I’d ever sell mine.

Glad you enjoyed it!
It is not just good for beginners, it is also good for older riders getting back into bikes again. I have some farmland, and unlike dedicated farm bikes, this one is road legal.

Very true! Thanks for the comment.
DAD of the YEAR !!!(For Sure !) I love my TWs, The most unpretentious Lil motorized donkeys ever. I have had more fun with them fellowshipping with friends in strange places without all the high horsepower, high speed, most noise, temptation for competition etc. Quiet, compact, simple, attractive looking lil-workhorses. Ride Well!

They had electric start in 87 too.
Best adult toy going. 🤟
Hello, I like the video. Don’t mean-to-be picky here, but! the music playing while you are speaking It’s somewhat distracting. Anyway’s Cheers…

Thanks for the comment. I've noticed that audio levels vary across mediums. I tried to find a good balance between viewing on TV, PC, and phone. I completely understand the point and appreciate the feedback. It comes down to style and I love a backing track in most cases. I'm creating a video right now regarding TW200 customization and accessories. I'll probably try my best to avoid the background music in this case. I'll definitely keep this in mind for future videos--thanks! If you do like what you've seen so far, please subscribe. I'll be taking these ice fishing this year!

I tried and tried, but I couldn't help but add music to the new video. I just really love some background music. I did try to lower the level based on some of your feedback. Thanks!
Good job finding two TW200's for sale!

My local dealer had two committed from Yamaha. I grabbed them in April and then had to wait for delivery in September 2021. Even still, I do feel lucky I was able to score two of them. Thanks for the comment!

@@dadsdoingstuff355 No worries! I was on the list for a new one last year but they found a 2017 with low miles so I pounced on that

Huh glad I read that you had to wait for them. I can pick one up this weekend but it’s 250 miles away or I can wait on one from my local shop they know is coming but no idea when. I mean it prob wouldn’t be as bad a wait as in 2021 but I’m not chancing it.road trip this weekend it is.calling to put the deposit on it in an hour

Where did you get those windshields? Could you give the manufacturer's name and a link to order these. Thanks, great video!
@dadsdoingstuff355

Yeah, the windshields are awesome! As soon as we got them, we were in love. They also only took a couple minutes to install. They're made by a guy in California. You just email him, and he'll send you all the info on how to get them. I'll leave the info in the video description above.

I understand what you're saying. Recently I noticed the music audio levels seem to be higher than when I made it. I'm looking into adjusting it but I don't know if that requires re-uploading the video. Thanks for the feedback.
