Love your riding Chris, it always showcases the bike's strengths. Pity most of us can't do the same 😉
I just got the T7 2 weeks ago. This really is one of those bikes few bikes that see in your lifetime that becomes a legend. Yamaha ain't getting rid of this one.
Chris is a proper gentleman hooligan. Keep up the good work mate. Love your videos.
Chris is the king of Hoonage! ❤ It! 👍👍

Especially off-road hoonage with really expensive machines like the Multistrada V4S.
Fortnine did a really good video explaining why the T7 has such great traction.
that intro gave me literal chills... mega effort. You have outdone yourself.. keep it up mate 🔥
Great review. Says something about Chris that, as good as the other reviewers on the channel are (and they are really good) I'm always happy seeing him doing the review.
My next bike. What a perfect duo Chris/WR. By the way, I really like it when you come to make videos in my country. Benvindo Chris e Obrigado !
Now that was one of the best reviews I've ever seen! Riding style is stellar.

Yamaha surely has a winner on its hands with the T7. What a great product all around.
Long waited review from the one and only👌
Great review. And amazing riding :)
That’s how you ride for adventure! Well done.
Chris is charging hard. Those high speed cornering wheelies were very cool.
Hi Chris, I’ve been contemplating buying this bike I’ve got a GS at the moment. I watch lots of reviews but not one as good as yours. Keep on the good work fantastic riding. I am hundred percent so long despite now what a machine
Absolutely fantastic machine
Nice relax riding! lol Great review as always!
Great video 🔥 would love to see more world raid videos
Absolutely f...ing awesome Chris🤟
Awesome review & riding skills I love mine 👌
And I love it too mate! This is my dream bike!

Nice one! Chris doesn't get appreciated enough for these reviews. Chris, Zack and Ari have become by go to journalists for motorcycle reviews.

We'll pass on the love, not many of them left. All the decent journalist came from magazine backgrounds where independent opinion mattered, spec sheet readers seem to be taking over, shame!
Dream bike! I'm obsessed! 😍 Sadly not something I'm able to get or even ride, but one can dream! 🤣
Awesome!
Great review Chris as usual when you gonna put a Tuareg through its paces, now that would be a great comparison to see 💪👌
There is a work around for opening both fuel caps for refuelling, not ideal, but can be done. Unless I’m going on a long journey, I refuel the left tank only, then it equalises both tanks while riding.
I wish you were in the F900R cup!!! It would be so cool to have you, fast bikes, 44t, and all the others racing eachother! Make it happen mannnnn 😊

Chis will be riding in one of the rounds, we're doing loads of other racing this year though...
re caps: you can pull the o-ring from the cap towards the key to remove the key while it's open, makes filling up both tanks way smoother.
Awesome 😎
Nice video, thank you. Maybe my next bike.
My T7 has just done very well at The Devils Punch Bowl, really impressed.
You can open both tanks at the same time, you have to push the catch in of the open one and it releases the key then open the second if you want.
Its possible to open both tank caps, just stick two fingers under the cap and press. Turn the key and open the next one. Only downside is you may get some fuel on your fingers r
when people ride this bike they get what the raid is about . mind you a good set upT7 is very good. looks like you had fun. and the dunlop 908 are very good tyres for the bike.
Great test! What ( clicks ) extension and compression settings do you recommend for off road with the World Raid OEM suspensions?
Skilled rider indeed! 😮
Chris, you are my favorite hooligan!
My thoughts on whether to get the standard T7 or the World Raid just keep swinging from one to the other. I think it has swung back to the WR.🤔 Just as a tip, if you push the seal ring up on the fuel cap you can then pull the key out, allowing you to open the other tank at the same time.
Any bike looks good on Chris hands !!
Too bad this is a Euro only version. I would kill to have the World Raid come to the U.S.. Great review Chris.
I did test ride the world raid yesterday and it is a great bike I didn’t buy it as I found I couldn’t split traffic like I can on my ktm 690 and at walking pace it’s a bit cumbersome so daily commute isn’t it’s strong point, on the open road ye it’s comfortable but lacks some grunt(saying that the bike had 3 miles on it and I wasn’t giving it beans out of respect) but again compared to my 690 it would have no chance, I was lucky enough to whip it up the moors and I was blown away by it’s off road capabilities no way is it too heavy which I have heard I really would love some nobblies to rag it!! But again it’s let down by the bulky tanks on slow speed manoeuvres and on technical terrain when seated you can’t see the front wheel which is vital all you see is the bars turn and this big tank and front screen go forwards!!! It really puts you off your line, when speeds pick up again it’s off-road handling is superb it will slide and drift with absolute confidence the suspension is incredible too, standing is fantastic for me being 6ft3 it is actually comfortable to stand and not break my back and it helps to see that front wheel at slow speeds especially over rough stuff downside to having long legs is my knees go further along them massive tanks and so me legs get pushed further out than someone shorter so I did get hip cramp in both hips I did sit on the standard Tenere and it’s a lot slimmer would love to try that too, oh and it sounds a beast even stock..all in all great bike but would have the rally Edition
you nailed the worst design flaw at 5:50. We recently got back from a one week in Tunisia: 3 standard T7, 2 WR. While the std were flawless, in both (!) the WR after a couple of days the command wheel stopped working because of sand. So you could no longer select anything, especially the ABS mode. Just what you expect from an unstoppable and reliable RTW motorbike.
hope to see a indepth review of the desertx❤
Chris please do a comparison to the extreme edition tenere VS world raid. Both on the better kyb suspension, but different fuel tank designs and weights. I think I will test ride the world raid in the next days... Would love to some faster rally stuff and less technical trails besides my beta 300 rr😊. Which offroad Tyre setup did you use? The Oem Rims with tubes? They are not tubeless ready right?
Chris, please do a T7 (standard) v Aprilia Tuareg comparison…
Where can I learn to ride like you man. I want that control over my bike. I just need to practice more I guess lol
Some countries get a version with the smaller tank but with the better suspension. That would have been an instant buy for me if it was on sale here...
Chris, i wish to be like you someday
You will be the guy to do the motogymkhana 🏁🏁
🏁🏆
Christ that boy can ride.
Must be time to do a challenge with Matt from Carwow on that same track you just covered lol
As long as Yamaha took to get this sweet machine to USA market, I'm glad they actually did. Wonder if Suzuki will work in a similar sort of machine with the 800DE?
@adriantompson
Жыл бұрын
been told 800de was not made to jump that came from a rep. so thats not going to take the hammer pity susuki have messed up again.
For me, the permanent wheely mode seems too exhausting throughout the day - could I switch off as well?
Anyone know if this is ever coming to the US?
how does this compare to the transalp? is it silly to compare the two just cause one is way better offroad and the other is way better as a tourer?
Love them but I wish they were done it the white and red Yamaha colours
how about the Rally Edition is it any different?
Would love to actually see one somewhere in the USA.....
When do you think they’ll bring this to the u.s?
The Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid! only available in a few select countries 😢

Saw one of these bikes in the colour of the old IT Sky Blue. It looked the dog's.

Stick a super charger on it Chris 😅

T7 WR or a 2023 ktm 890 Adv R???

@@rcgonzo144 I have a 2023 KTM 890 Adventure R. Great bike but The engine in the 890 sounds broken all the time. I’m embarrassed to start it up infront of people sometimes. It’s shocking. That alongside I keep getting an Immobiliser Antenna fault which stops the bike from starting is making me want to sell it.
Would love to see you compare this to the Desert x.

Looks like we need to do a few comparisons...
Everyone bags the T700 , especially in relation to any KTM , but guess what , the same people use it as the benchmark for referencing, because all the punters have brought it , the attraction is , it’s got less not more. They’re older & they’ve been around the block , the last thing they want is to be stuck out the back of beyond on a bike that’s got too many electrical peccadilloes.
Actually its not a big weight difference between standard version ... due to the size of the fuel tank .... in reality is only approx. 8 kg heavier :)
Sadly not available in the United States.
This cat can ride
Mine doesn’t wheelie like that, think I need a KTM😂
I can ride like him ..
Test rode this bike recently and I found it way too top heavy for me, horrible it was.
sorry after seeing you on that freakin sweet rebuilt white KTM 950.......everything else is 🥱😴
I am 5.6 i can't ride THIS!!! AT ALLLL😂😂
Only 73Hp :((
@adriantompson
Жыл бұрын
i have rode off road bikes with 105 bhp that 73bhp is a lot more in real riding the torque out of the yam is unreal. and if you do both off road and road the tyres wont let you use all the power on road because they get to hot with 73bhp. think most people who want all the power need a road bike not a adventure bike.
Analog gauges > ipads
to tell you the truth I don't like the look of the bike. it should look like the '88 Yamaha XT 600 that white and red one and they could easily do that, Of course the weight is to much too, but with the '88 xt600e looks would look much better and I really don't think the Yamaha is failing only in appearance and weight. the other japanese brands are also failing because they could make a bike like the KTM 690, Honda already has the base for that with the xr650r it just lacks electric start. Japanese motorcycles should make a motorcycle to compete with the KTM 690. A motorcycle with 72 horsepower, single cylinder, light as the KTM 690, and simple maintenance. It is in this sector that Japanese brands are failing. In the background is a Suzuki DR 650 with more power, a Honda XR 650 R with an electric start, a Kawasaki klx 650 with more power, a Yamaha XT 600 with more power and the look of the xt's of the 80's that had the suspension more high. The yamaha T7 world raid looks better and has better suspentions, but should have a high level front fender. The common rider wants a wheelie machine but not with 200 kg and the maintenace of a mx bike. I think that is enough choices for big adventure bikes, but on the level of the ktm 690 or husky 701, there is nothin on the japanese brands. They should do at least a model like that, with an exhaust with restrictions for Europe because of emissions like the 690 KTM has, that would be easy to fix, buyers would put a new exhaust. And people in Europe and the world would already have more choices.
