    Cruising 78mph in 3rd gear at 9500rpm ? That's redline dude.

Why are you riding at 70+MPH in 4th gear?

the bike will feel more comfortable in 5th and 6th gear doing 75 mph on the highway....:)

Gotta disagree with you saying it's not really built for the highway. I mean, maybe not in 3rd or 4th gear at 75+ mpg but on average user case scenarios, I'd argue it's fine for both highway and dirt.

Fair point, I think I'll come back to this bike once I've gathered more experience/knowledge in this segment. I get the sense that this bike is more versatile and has a lot more to offer than I initially gathered!

Just something i learned. Gt a smaller bike to strt offroading. Not a 200kg bike, get a 150kg bike. Then after you have some experience try a 200kg bike woith more power. i first had a BMW 1200 GS, felt it is too big, bought a Tenere 700, but again for a start too big, bought a CRF 300 Rally, loving it, and now i go for more hardcore stuff with the crf and more normal stuff i use the T7. For pure touring the bmw

Glad the review was useful! Loads of folks swear by this bike. Super capable off road (from what I've seen elsewhere!), and has enough gumption to get you around on the road.

Man I’d love for you to go out and do a comparison of all the lightweight adv bikes you have good explanations. I am up in north Bay Area ca… you know the insane drivers on these California highways especially if you head east from the Bay Area. Curious if it works or which adv works best

Very familiar with these California drivers 😭. I’ll see if I can get my hands on a few of the other adv bikes in the segment!

Touratech and Seat Concepts make comfort seats for the Tenere that might do the trick.

People! Don't listen to a reviewer that mistakes a 360 for a 180, cruises at or near redline on the hwy, critiques badly about the performance of a mostly offroad bikes manner on the hwy and gives you an offroad review based on an roadside gravel turnout in 1st gear who hasn't been offroad in 10yrs. Lol what a joke!

Stick to what you know if you want to be helpful. ADV bikes are OBVIOUSLY outside your wheelhouse. It wouldn't be so bad if you didn't try to come off as a proper reviewer. This is just an impressions video from a guy who knows nothing about off pavement riding. If you billed it that way you'd have different feedback.

Sounds like you have a lot of knowledge to share. Feel free to share that knowledge here, this is meant to be a useful forum for riders. I certainly don't have all the info, and I learn a lot from people that share useful references 👍
