Yamaha RX100 was the go-to bike for two-wheeler enthusiasts back in the 80’s and early-90s. Back then, the Yamaha RX100 not only set a benchmark for two-stroke motorcycles but also single-handedly changed people’s perspective towards motorcycling.
The Yamaha RX100 was launched in November 1985 and the company kept manufacturing it until March 1996. The government’s decision to pull the plug on all two-stroke motorcycles ended of the Yamaha RX100's reign in India. But the success story carries on even today
The RX100 was the result of Yamaha going back to the drawing room after the RD350 failed to light up the market. But even Yamaha couldn’t have anticipated the outcome of their radical approach, making the Yamaha RX100 the legend it is today. The best example of this is that enthusiasts are still willing to handover hefty amounts of money in order to own a well-maintained example of the RX100.

Nicely explained, I have just restored my Rx135 4 Speed 1996 Model, but engine work was excluded because it is working fine. It costed me around 40K.

Bro which one would be better option? weather to get the exsisting parts painted or to get new parts for my rx100? like chain covers, clutch cover and other chrome parts? which one would be economical?

He had to buy a new tank for 8k and a new silencer and bend the pipe, Bro. Otherwise expenses would have been less than 70k
In south , at hyderabad the parts are very costly and mechanics are very demand , they are charging very high for my rx100 restoring took 1lakh without paint work ..

For spares go to ratiwal automobiles ram koti best shop for only rx and rd spares..and for fitting go to huppuguda kaleem bhai his shop is near railway station i restored by bike stock condition only in 53,450 almost everything was new used.. geniune mechanic.

In dehradun,uttarakhand cost for restoration is maximum 25000rs per bike depending on the condition Complete paint work 4500rs Labour Complete 2500rs Aur baki saare parts jo lagane hai

It was .75 I believe. HE got it rebored to 1mm
Video was nice but the expenditure is too high. Why did you change everything. There might have been something's which you could have held back. I also restored my RXZ without painting it costed me around 10k. I don't understand why you spent such a high amount. Did you want to change every item pun to pin ?

Bro maine abi apni rx100 restore kiya with all mask company parts price zameen aasman ka farak hai jo tum batae mera usse 30-40% kam price pay kiya hu direct shop pe mumbaj mei hai outof mumbai nahi example: mudguard: 900 rear mudguard: 600 seat handle: 480 Pilot lamp both: 200 Leg guard: 650 Gear assy: 290 Kick assy: 330 Etc etc And all parts are from mask company if you want i can give you address of that shop but its just for you

सहि नही है. मेरी rx100 1986 model restore कर रहा हू. I am from solapur city. मेरे पास अभी rx100 restore के सारे oem spair parts है with price लिस्ट. सिर्फ crank आउट & connecting रोड किट काम बाकी है. total spairpatrs and painting + labour charge मिला के 33, 000/- हूवा है. Speedylyio तुम्हारा budget बहोत ज्यादा हो गया. इतना खास नही लग रहा bike. 🤔
