Yamaha RX-E810 v7 repair

A well known machine this Yamaha RX-E810 at this repair. I'm searching some issue and hope so that I can answer also during the repair a unknown change occur but see self what happened to this very special Video! If you want to follow the service manual more then you can download it here: elektrotanya.com/yamaha_rx-e4... there you can also see the schematic from this machine. Why not just interchange only dispay, insted of whole front?

I thought maybe the driver is also defect. We have a idea and then it come out we need a silver one and so it comes. And yes sometimes I don't think I could also interchange the VLF PCB from one to the other this is correct. I think I talk to much! haha weakbit

Hi I'm currently trying to get my one back up running. C8 was broken years ago and are already replaced. Now I have a similar behaviour like in this video with the 18 V on the 10v rail. My next ideas was to just replace the 2 transistors. But I'm not finding a good source for this parts. Or do you have an idea were I can have a look for problems. The transistors are looking fine from outside. Thank you in advance.

I don't know which one transistors did you mean? but if you look on the µController board you have there a 5Volt regulator and if you have there +5V there so measure the clock on the µC this should be run. If you mean the transistor at the 2nd power-supply you can bridge them for a test and then it should run the machine. What are your insights about the transistors?

@@weakbit633 I meant the 2 Transistors of the above video Q1 and Q4. I cannot test the transistors, thats why I thought maybe just replace them and check if it helps. From optical side they are looking good other than the one Q1 you have in the Video. You mean bridging drain and source at Q1 and Q4 without 10k or with 10k?

@@stuttvoll bridge Q4 middle pin and (I think it was the right pin) with a 10ohm resistor. Attention disconnect the power-plug there is high voltage on this transistor! Then start it if the Relay RY1 controlled by Q1 transistor "click" then your must change the Q4. (Q1 was at my experience never defect - test the pin1 there are must +10V or more then the pin2 this is the line to the base of the Q1-base-resistor). I make a test this is easy you also can built in a other FET transistor like the IRF13N50FT. have a look here www.mouser.at/ProductDetail/onsemi-Fairchild/FQPF13N50CF?qs=usxs4w7dJKRRV2CAJ%2FokDA%3D%3D&mgh=1&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwzN-vBhAkEiwAYiO7oOlYu_6ImhvL14e0hhRiOpcS8xJDXnHU2BiU7boLWZ9ShmkAb4HhuRoCtzkQAvD_BwE Good luck!
