Yamaha NS5000 Flagship Speakers Unboxed | The Listening Post | TLPCHC TLPWLG

Ғылым және технология

Yamaha's Best Ever... #Yamaha have proudly introduced the #NS5000, a 3-way speaker system that shows off the future of Yamaha's speaker technology. Yamaha have spared no effort in all aspects of designing Hi-Fi speakers, including components and materials.
The result is the superb NS-5000, with sound and performance that sets a standard for all Hi-Fi speakers to come.
Features...
Revolutionary #ZYLON Material
ZYLON is a synthetic material that boasts the title of the "world’s strongest synthetic fibre" while possessing optimum elasticity. The soft-dome diaphragm suppresses peaks and dips in the frequency response, while taking advantage of its high acoustic velocity comparable to that of beryllium.
The result is a remarkably flat frequency response, with unified tone color and acoustic velocity over the entire frequency range, providing comfortable listening experience and meticulously accurate, superb sound reproduction of the highest degree.
Newly developed Resonance Suppression Chamber
Yamaha's new R.S chambers suppress unwanted resonance in the mid and high ranges, achieving higher-resolution audio reproduction. By eliminating the need for a large quantity of sound-absorbing material inside the enclosure that tends to smooth the frequency response of each speaker unit and might degrade minute nuances of the sound.
Frequency-dividing Network
All drivers in the NS-5000 are connected in positive phase with single wiring to deliver a natural, pleasing listening experience. Components of its frequency-dividing network are mounted on a double-sided printed circuit board with extra-thick copper.
Yamaha used handpicked parts of only the highest quality, such as the SUPREME EVO audio capacitor, which is made in Germany and renowned as the pinnacle of audio-use capacitor and a woofer coil that weighs as much as 1.6 kg (3.52 lbs).
Specs...
Type: 3 way Bookshelf Bass-reflex Type

MidRange Driver: 3.25 Inch ZYLON®

I couldn't agree more, their a beautiful speaker and they sound for the money totally amazing, I recently bought a pair in Perth, my REL subs are now on movie duties only which is a shame for such a fantastic sounding sub, but with the NS 5000 you don't need subs.

Hello Sir. Just wondering how good these speakers will work with the partner A-S3200 integrated amp or if need more juice to work really great. I'm tempted to think they could make a great pair as these are not power hungry, but I'm just guessing...

Hi John. The A-S3200 has enough power and in its price point it is a solid option. I love these speakers powered with McIntosh though. The MA-9000, or MA-9500 is a superb match - but expensive. www.listeningpost.co.nz/products/amplifiers/integrated-amplifiers/mcintosh-ma9500-integrated-amplifier-9500-receiver-__I.470871__C.27254__N.27756

Your Great to watch, but being in this business thru the years, I will either ( if I think of it at the time) wear gloves, or take my watch, etc. off when I'm unpackaging and setting up components. Oh' the pain if I were to scratch something, I have scratched high gloss panels and speakers in the past. Most recently it was no my Yamaha AS-2100 panel. Anyway, that's my 2 cents worth. Thanks!
