    great review, it's an amazing bike!! i sat on it yesterday but the riding position seemed too much like a sports bike so i had to lean forward a lot to reach the handlebars. I'm 5"7 would lowering the seat make the riding position more upright?

    How tall are you? I'm getting one of these in June I'm 5ft 10" you think it's it will be an issue? How much was it to have it lowered?. Great vid. Tim

    Hi mate. Loving your channel - please keep up the good work! I know you've sold it now (awesome Ducati by the way) but would appreciate your opinion please as to how good the MT 125 would be as a weekday commuter as well as a weekend fun bike? I'm still on a CBT right now and would be doing about a 20 mile journey each way each day. I'm planning on doing my A2 in the next year but just love the look of the MT 125 right now for my current license. Would appreciate your thoughts please buddy? Thanks Paul.

    I really like your videos man. Keep it up! One question though.. I think I'm either going to buy the KTM Duke or this bike. Both seem great and i have a hard time chosing which one I should buy. I've heard from many people the Duke is a bit faster and slightly better, but also more expensive. They seem pretty similar otherwise. Any advice? Do you prefer this bike or the duke? whats your opinion?

    @sam parkin No not in the uk as there is no emissions test once you own the bike, the only emissions test is done in factory before you buy the bike. And no the indicators dont make a beep noise... i hate that noise!

    I got the MT125 4 days ago and I absolutely love it. Same color as yours. I have 2 questions: Is it just my bike or the left side of the screen only shows neutral light and there's no gear indicator? Does the Akrapovic really make a difference volume wise or just sound tone? Thanks mate :)

    nice one!! Glad you are enjoying it bro! Not too sure about the screen mate... you mean the screen or the display? The bike doesn't come with a gear indicator, only a neutral light :/ It makes the bike sound amazing man! Check some of my other videos out and you'll hear it in action!! Also acceleration is slightly better! Your welcome bud!

    Hi there, is your warranty not voided by making the changes you have made? Also does yours have ABS mine does but it's going to be the first bike I've had with it just wondering how it feels. I've just bought one on finance just waiting to pick it up next week, they have to register it with the DVLA yet.

    Honestly man I don't know, I never asked the dealership I bought it from. Abs is a god send, been in two close calls on the Ducati where if I didn't have ABS I'd have been over the bonnet of the car that pulled out on me. Sorry for the late reply man, enjoy the mt 125

    Hiya :) Thanks dude, the problems are minor though so shouldn't have to worry about them. Spoke to the dealership today and they said the seat having small holes in isn't covered by warranty!!! BUT they said yamaha are quite good with new bikes and should give me a new one for good will :) Personally i haven't really noticed any difference with the screen, i think it's cosmetic only but because i never really paid much attention to the wind hitting me in the chops before, if there was a difference i haven't noticed it lol. They looks great though ;)

Most things are covered under warranty but cosmetic stuff like scratches and tears aren't covered. But Yamaha might give me a new seat as a good will thing. It's a cracking little bike and have had so many people tell me that :D so when you get one enjoy it massively man!!!

  • @tonymoulls

    @tonymoulls

    9 жыл бұрын

    Hi mate :) In England if you want to ride a bike on the road you need to do a thing called a CBT (compulsory basic training) and you have to do that every 2 years until you pass your full bike test. If you haven't passed your full bike test you have to have the red L to show you are still a learner. Hope this helps man :)

  • @callum7826

    @callum7826

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Fakroun7 The L is a Learner plate. On cars you must have one if you are learning and on your test. Some people use them after they have passed so other driver know to be weary around them. On bikes you have to have an L plate until you have passed your full driving test. If you have only done a CBT (17 years old and above - not completing the full bike test) you have to keep the plate as you have not done the full test and you can only ride a 125cc.

    ahh that sucks even more man!! This is the exact reason i'm doing my full bike test! Fed up with going so slow and having no power when it's needed!

    +Harvey I looked up on the Duke 125 a little bit and while it's a good bike (and looks damn fine) it nurtures some electrical problems that might come out over the time you use the bike. If i had to go for the looks i'd go for the Duke, overall quality and reliability: the MT 125 without doubt.

    Hitting speed bumps is the fault of you lowering your bike not the bikes fault itself

    John Hodgson he didn't really refer to it as a fault, more of something to watch out for if you lower it

    I never stated it was the bikes fault, it's because I fitted the lowering kit. Nobody fault but my own. I had no choice, I was born with something that affected my growth meaning I'm short, nothing stops me from riding!
