it's nice the fact that you mentioned if the damper is only for aesthetics, cause i always see people thinking that those can save you from the death wobble, well it is if it's installed on the right place, but at that place on the video is definitely far away from functional, huge deadzone right there.

Like with the Honda Dirt Bike HPSD steering damper, it needs to be mounted inline with the stabilizer body when used like this. This one has an offset mount (it’s supposed to be mounted on or below the clamps) so not completely sure how it affects/ works between steering left and right. My assumption is, it works better at the start of steering for one then goes lite while the other side starts lite then gets heavier as the bars are turned away from center.
