I agree the resonance of these guitars is remarkable - I have a LL16. This can be a disadvantage as my mistakes also last forever with it!

I decided to just do the laminate versions of the Yamahas for these original videos. I owned a Yamaha LLX16 once and it was phenomenal!

I have just bought the exact same guitar second-hand from eBay for a bargain price. I have owned it 2 days and the sound from this guitar has blown me away. It is going to a luthier next week to have a bone nut and saddle fitted and the action lowered. Very happy with my purchase 🙂

@@Sick_Strings01 My guitar sustains for days too 😁I can't stop letting chords ring out whilst playing. The sustain is addictive. I am looking for a hard-shell case for this guitar, but I am having diffuculty trying to find information on the correct case to buy. I want it to fit snuggly without moving around inside. Do you have a case for your yamaha?

Here is a link to a case that I would use. Hot take here, I don’t like hard cases at all. I’ve seen too many guitars broken BECAUSE of a hard case that I prefer soft shell cases or bag. reverb.com/p/yamaha-ag-sc-dreadnought-soft-guitar-case

The Ibanez power pad bag/case is excellent too. I’ve owned quite a few over the years and they come in different colors so you can sort of organize your guitars by case. reverb.com/p/yamaha-ag-sc-dreadnought-soft-guitar-case
