If Yamaha would put the 700 twin in the Tenere bike on a quad it would be a top contender.

The box in the back is supposed to be like that. It’s for hardware, tow straps, things that doesn’t matter if you get wet. It has the giant crack in it so it can air dry fast.

Hey man, nice video, congrats on passing 1000 subscribers, it's always the hardest to get. I agree that back storage box is a joke, but I used to 1/2" foam with one side sticky 3m tape which sealed it right up (water will still get in if I go that deep) which I see you have snorkels so you probably do a lot of that style riding. OH and the Hi-Beam headlight is Halogen b/c halogen is better for shooting further down the trail than LED's. Which Im not sure is totally true anymore with how the newer LED's have the "spot" along with "flood" options. But I believe thats originally why Yamaha did that. I also think it's stupid haha

Congrats on 1K. I recently bought a used 2008 Grizzly a couple months ago, and I lova almost everything so far aside from a couple of minor issues.

@@atv_lifestyle Yeah, I wish quality and fit and finish were a little better (rear storage and gauge pod) and a maybe smoother engine. My Grizzly's handlebars shake at idle, but my KingQuad's engine is just so extremely smooth, and the fit and finish is a bit better.

@@atv_lifestyle yeah, as you said, any offroad vehicle isn't perfect. KingQuad could use better storage and nicer suspension.

They definitely all have their pros and cons

The storage box on back i just keep a tow rope in it for dragging deer. The handlebar light i unplugged it and plugged a LED light bar under the front rack because besides its a different bulb it's useless if you have anything on the front rack. As far as power for riding the woods like I do it has plenty of power but running faster places I could see where a little more power would be nice. I like the brakes on handlebars, much easier to control than hitting foot brake and i use the front brake as much or more than rear brake. But nice honest review 👌

100% they would! I ride a 2017 1000R Outlander and would trade it in in a heartbeat for an 800-900 Yamaha. This thing I have eats belts and is more power than I need or want. My old 2007 Canam Outlander 800 had the perfect power level and it rode better than my 2017

@@atv_lifestyle they are the sweet spot for 95% of the riders out there. The 1000’s wreck more stuff and the throttle is very twitchy when pulling it up on a truck deck.

Can't agree more on the high beam headlight, when I brought the 2022 home I was like WTF really!? And then rear storage box is absolutely pointless other then for a strap or clevis that can get dusty and wet.

Love the rear storage for the tow strap. That’s one thing my 08 grizzly doesn’t have that I really miss. Also love the front and rear brake being independent of each other. But coming from dirt bikes that’s almost a must have. And while there are aftermarket foot pegs for these, that’s also one of the things that drove me towards a Grizzly instead of the king quad.

No the 708 grizzly engine was kind of their problem engine. They only ran it for three years because of this

What snorkel and radiator relo kit did you use?

Snorkel kit is n2deep and rad kit is rubber down customs. I went with them as they will customize the radiator cover
