I know this is a few years old, but I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the detail and time put into it. First time changing oil for any vehicle and it was step-by-step easy with your instructions. Thank you.

I didn't see you loosen the gallery bolt to check for oil seepage to make sure there is oil pressure. Is there anyway the check

I have same grizzly, minus the windscreen. Never could figure out if it was a special edition or not

do not screw in the oil stick when checking oil level

You do have to screw it in on a Yamaha, not on a Honda

The oil filter O-rings from Yamaha come pre lubed

Make a little aluminum tray to fit under your oil filter so it keeps the mess off your engine. Bend a little spout so it drains outisde the case.

Garrett O’Mar didn’t want the mess do the same with all my cars and trucks too 10 seconds of motor running fills it up no real difference

I use 15/40 rotella since new. Still runs like new.
