Yamaha EMX5016CF is a powered mixer with many useful features but still compact. I have used one for some time in the real world and here is my thinking...
Жүктеу.....

Thanks for sharing your experience. Do you have another video where you explain how you miced the drums and brought them into the PA?

We bought one for our Church but ours is the lower EMX5014c. This one is more than enough for our needs at this time.

marty, yeah, man, absolutely you can use this for that gig. I use ElectroVoice SX300 speaker, but you know, many kinds of (passive) speaker will still rock... ! peace Lex

According to the Yamaha EMX5016CF manual it is 500W RMS per channel.
Anto - if the room is VERY big I think it might not be loud enough for real bass-heavy dance beats. But for an average club I think it will be fine! The compressors help get maximum volume that is available. Good Luck Lex

Great review, thank you! Would this be a good powered mixer for acoustic guitar + mic (solo gigs, small - med venues, up to 300 people)? What speakers would you recommend for this?
Hey cambo, The only time I have had 'loud pop' is if you power up the mixer when the faders are up - there is a single quick blast of feedback - then it stops and everything is absolutely OK. [so try to have the faders down when you power up]. Apart from that I have not had any such problems ! Good luck! Lex

I'm looking for a mixer that eliminates clipping when i rap without using a computer daw or software that keeps my voice leveled evenly ?

Dr Robotnik! Yes I think this would be pretty good for that - because of the two stage compression - 1st stage on the mic input channel - and then more on the output power stage... good luck AL

Toonster - i must admit I have never used that feature - abit "gimmicky" I think. Best to use your ears first and then adjust the graphic equalizer to taste i would say! Sorry cant be of more help Alan

What a pathetic attempt at humour. What's the point of showing the buttons in this fashion.

Not really. Yamaha website says, 500W PEAK (per channel), 125W RMS (per channel)
