Right then to all my aerox guys I ride big bikes I love my Aerox’s tho very sporty bikes Ped’s and go very well Well then after constant asking around I Found the earth cable to the started motor back 10 mm nut was split in its wiring to the block :) I ran new cable and guess what no more miss-fire back fire at all ☝️thank you mark and keep them vides coming two anybody that gets this nasty misfire out of exhausts 100% earth wire to the start motor infact try it disconnect it you will still have a spark even it’s not connect so that would drive you nuts believe you me check all wires first Having a spark does not mean the bike is earth correct for when it’s running

you are correct you don't need to take the exhaust off. ☺

hi mark i tought i had to unscrew all 3 bolts on magnet cover and one doesent want to come out or screw back in do you know what i have to do?

Hi Mark, im having the same issue as somebody else in the comments, I can't remove the flywheel cover on my aerox! I have a puller but the cover i have doesn't have any thread at all! As in it never has had thread its just a flat unit? I have removed the bolt but can't remove the cover! What would you suggest??

Hey mark, I am buying a Piaggio zip in the coming weeks but i have been told the electrics don't work but the bike still runs and rides but no horn, lights, indicators ect, if you could maybe give me some diagnostic advice of what I check first when I got hold of the bike, thanks 1

I have many videos on how to fix and help with 4t and 2t mopeds as for electrics it could just be as simple as needing a new battery as al items listed run from this and are fused so could be simple or even connectors , earths etc but my videos will help bud

Hello mate I have a Yamaha aerox 2000 reg bike starts runs and rides grate but my Headlight is not going bright at all I have had a good look at it wean you rev the bike it doesn't get bright but if you let go of the throttle it sort of tries to have you got any idea what it could be I have put a battery in but still the same all other lights work fine back light brake light and indicators work fine I'm confused with this one

hi bud ok its a few things stator coil low volts coming out , take off and clean or replace bad earth this can cause wrong bulb they are not 55/60 but 35/35 and the stator cannot pump out enough volts to get it to full brightness maybe look into led bulbs , much better but may not pass mot so just swap it out on that day and that's what id do check out my led bulb videos on here, very easy to do and cheap lol

you cant adjust the timing on the stator bud only fix and it works or doesn't lol then its you cdi does it run ok? take it its 2t older one and not a new 4t new one

Always buy your new parts brand new & from a scooter site

Best you a volt meter first to see if it’s putting an out put and the battery too As sometimes I’ve bought a new battery and it’s been a dud It is however common for the stator to be the problem I’ve have a few other videos on stator coils on my channel , they are on speedfights but all the same basics They change the battery and timing for the moped

I have a neos 50cc I believe they use the same stator but I can’t find a 4 wire only a 5 wire for that neos did you manage to install it fine on your Aerox

you have to use the same bud if its 4 then you have to use 4 if 5 then use 5 as for the pick up / immob ask sellers if you cant find the right match bud

Hi mark it’s been nearly a week had no reply I’ve took my stator off and put back on is the timing on aerox need to be set up because now I’m getting back firing on the spot like mad is there a certain setting to set up the stator and bell any positions for timing I really need a reply please mate

I did see a few "call me now" messages bud but I don't do that, my help is free and I do try and help but I'm not a shop or garage !! the stator sits in a wood ruff and only goes on one way and sits on in one position so timing is never out, take it off and see what's gone on bud if its set up ok it maybe your cdi

mark savage sorry about that mark and thank you for the reply I’ll swap it over later it’s very strange idile is ok soon as you hit the throttle back fire flames and the. Turns off or may still run would a rubbish head gaskets if leaking do that I’ll have to buy a new plug as the one in there now is new but can fail very strange

Hi, im having trouble removing the flywheel it seems to be stuck on. Ive tried a flywheel puller but cannot get it on evenly as one of the threads that the puller screws into is fucked. Any other methods of getting them off ive tried pulling with some force but still had no luck. Cheers

oh dear this is going to be a hard one to remove bud but use there or four screw drivers and two pairs or hands and lever it out but be careful not to damage the casing to be honest its going to be easy or a right bugger

Hi mate, was having a dillema with those 2 slide on connectors coloured red/black and white/red on my scooter and the slide plug it connects on to is coloured red/black and the other one is white/blue. I assume i’ll connect the white/red and white/blue wires right?haha damn these colours

I can't fathom what mindset or mind altering substances a person needs to be on in order to butcher a wiring loom like that? like fix the problem wire, but dont cut and shut loom and put on different connectors and wrap with ill-fitting electric tape that eventually falls off?

Got spark back today mark but I'm not getting any spark from the plug ? Any ides several plugs Ignition coil seems not to be making much power ... 1 on the way

@@marksavage its driving me round the bend mark haha I've had it running for about 15 mins then it bogged down and wont start .. it has 1 spark goes to fire but no more spraks seems to be firing the engine.. I'm lost I have a new stator just need to het that bolt of haha fingers crossed I've had this bike a little while now only paid 65 it's a lj50qt k 2 stroke moped

@@marie82924 I had this on the v clic Watch my next video out on Friday No spark on electric yet spark on kick start !! I think it was the start relay as the starter wire arked out and blow the new one !

LOL I've seen it all ... NOT .. anyways I swapped the stator out and she ticks bro

@@seantrott4878 so spark now After turning it over is the plug wet Sometimes after trying to start it you can flood it so take plug out clean and dry and leave it out for an hour Then test to see and take out to see if its wet and you still have spark

mark savage Hey mark, I’ve the same problem, not having the spark as the other guy. So the problem is very common and just needs a new cdi hopefully? My aerox was running about 2 months ago or so been left sitting since about then and seems to have no spark and cant start it. Any help would be appreciated.

@@ervinsis when they sit they can go to earth and blow the cdi Check power to the cdi and power out Check coil power to it as it maybe that and a lot cheaper to replace But the cdi's do go all the time bud

Does anyone know if I can put a 2002 coil and cover on a 2011. Is there much difference I know obviously it’s a no no. But does anyone know if it would work?

2002 is a mk2 and 2011 is a mk3 they are different engines, you would need to buy the right one bud

Ahh top man thankyou! I’m thinking of using a dremmel to cut my fly wheel off. As the tools just crushing the crankshaft and not moving it off it. Or would you say try to persevere and save the cover ? Thankyou for getting back to me !

You need a stator removal tool On ebay under £10 Or very hard / two big screw drivers but I don't recommend it

@Gas Dealer i thought you were trolling me Ok Back firing is too much fuel Normally carb so if up jetted but this would cause bogging If the rings are failing Or piston scored it will back fire as unburnt fuel If ac take head of and inspect Lc a little more work with gasket They don't have timing as such as fixed on the stator Maybe start with the stator coil and clean But you have changed the plug !!!! Yea !! Colour of plug?

I have turned my front pulley on my piaggio zip 2t 50cc will I redo my timing or should it still be the same?? I don't know much about bikes thanks

They fit on a wood pin thing lol like a grove and fit on only one way No timing bud They do suffer from cdi’s problems tho

@@antltarling3858 I have videos on how the kick start work, its on a speedfight but still the basics are the same and worth a watch on my channel with over 100 om mopeds , you will need to take the engine cover off and sometimes a good old spray of wd40 can help other times it needs to come off and the spring replaced or re set

Ok that can be a few things but let's start with a new plug Then carb off Jets clean Check all air pipes Tune like in my tune videos Air box ? What you got on Check vacuum if working And carb float

@@marksavage hi mark okey so I’ve clean the carb I’ve checked the reeds they still like new from last year Check all pipes and vacuum to make sure working so with vacuum pipe if I suck it works and if I remove it from the carb the bike tone changers and basically starts to turn off refitting it revs up so that’s okey and back to normal idile spark plug is new check all my belts and vario rollers belt literally every thing new from last year pull off the stator check wood shaft and crank seals all in place no leaking both sides drained the fuel starts on one kick and one good push with my hand that’s the thing that’s confusing me last year was good it’s only been stood 13 months and started twice I’m that year if you have look at my video it’s like as if some one turns the keys off or power cuts and the. It’s starts some forums say piston rings and so on I don’t think that all that’s the typical keyboard pusher if they was gone it wouldn’t start and smoke 💨 it don’t

@@marksavage standard airbox mate 17.5 carb 92 main jet but this was set up last year mate I spent months it had just sat there Check the fuel pipes and vacuumed sucking on the pipe lol yes fuels comes out and also when you re plug the vacuum back on or pull it off makes the bike turn off so that’s working yep the carb float is okey has its movement up and down as that’s only year old
