As we enter the first week of 2022, we have something unusual up our sleeves - a comparison between a maxi-scooter and a sporty-looking bike that has been loved by many ever since its inception. We're talking about Yamaha's Aerox 155 and the R15 V4. Both the two-wheelers use the same 155 cc, liquid-cooled motor, but for obvious reasons, the R15 makes more power. In terms of dimensions as well, both the models are quite similar, at least on paper. However, when we talk about the features, this is where the actual differentiation lies. While both get an LED headlight setup, the R15 had a Bi-functional LED headlight, and while the Aerox gets an Automatic Stop-Start System, the R15 missed out on the same. Last 2months AeroX is seen only KZread channels not available at Showrooms 😀, maybe Yamaha is still creating hype, as the limited imported stocks has exhausted 😁

True but now it's been relaunched, possibly with some updates and upgrades, I just took delivery of one in black last week Thursday here in GGN

I m only worried about breaking system...how the breaking system is good as compared to disc break...is that safe after 80 speed

Yes, I ride it at 100 Kmph without any breaking issue, as it has single channel ABS.

Yamaha aerox is too awesome but price is also too high it is better to buy mt15 bike in same price🙃.

Aerox is one of the best scooter but Fuel tank capacity is very small, should be 7 ltrs fuel tank

..at the end of the day , a scooter is a scooter and a scooter is not a scooter unless it has a flat floor board to carry ur regular stuff. If Aprillia sr160 has a flat board then why shoulnt the Aerox??.😥😥

Well, the answer to this question will be..... " Yamaha Aerox is not just a scooter, its a (kind of) Maxi Scooter! Ok, its just 155cc, they don't call it 'Maxi' unless it is 250cc or more, I agree. But in these Indian conditions, even a 155 cc scooter can be called Maxi Scooter, given the way Yamaha has styled it just like one. With that styling, it looses a lot of convenience features, starting with the absence of a flat floor board to carry some stuff.

@@cksajeevkumar ..mate !! If its the performance or riding fun is ur priority , better buy the R15. A spacious flat floor board would be so very handy for the purpose of the Aerox which is to go to long tourings !!

Highly priced. 😅 It's better to buy a bike at this price. For city ride and fun it's okay. But for long ride the fuel tank is very small and it also don't give enough mileage.
Yamaha company is also arogant that's why they didn't launch xsr but bakwas MT15
