Ever since the start of the game i threw myself into any shakedown on-sight because im a greedy bastard and it paid off so good by skipping the boring grind at earlygame before unlocking the real estate quest, so far i've only lost 6 out of 28 encounters and even then he just multiplies my money lmao, so i dont understand the fear of fighting him some people have, its a win-win situation just getting into a fight with them.

@@Shrapnel-qy4xi How would you mess up dodging his grapple? He has a charge time for it and it's super obvious when he's gonna use it. Fighting Mr. Shakedown more than twice will easily allow you to read his moves since he has like 4 different ones.

Nope, theres no Tiger drop in 0, that brawler counter is almost the same but less powerful.

Brawler is OP in the game. Despite it being a protype style of Dragon Of Dojima.

If you're majima: brawler to get heat - use bat heat action - breaker when he's downed (hit tree times and then triangle) Kiryu: using rush + beast (heat from behind) combo is sick Rush + brawler combo (he has some good heat actions)

bro our playstyle is awfully similar i love it

hold focus and kick him, if he blocks do the heat action. or if your timing is tight do it after rush rush heavy when he blocks. it's around 2-3 frames. brawler is my favorite style in the game also if he runs on you arms crossed use Tiger Drop/Counter Hook. if he jumps for the instakill it doesn't work though

I used to fight Mr shakedown with rush and beast. Now that I have a fully upgraded brawler style and a drunk as hell Kiryu he’s WAY too op for Mr. Shakedown.

that's cause Shimano uses Mr shakedowns moveset but without the crazy damage

Dude once you level brawler and unlock the blocks, it MELTS, especially if you get kiryu drunk, the damage is nuts like ... Literally counter and heat actions take away a full health bar nuts. I grinded up to 6 trillion yen just farming Mr. Shakedown for the real estate stuff.

Beating him is the best way to gain a load of cash to upgrade, so I think its worth more than Kiryu's real estate minigame.

@@joaoaugustovelasquesmeza615 no, Kiryus brawler is slower than Majimas thug so fighting Mr. Shakedown with just brawler is very hard, compared to thug which can chain combos and recover easier, but then compare Kiryus rush style to Majimas breaker style, Kiryu has the advantage in the fight because he can dodge out of attacks and constantly combo, while Majima can get some good hits in but one wrong move he pays for it so one isn't easier than another, their fighting styles just have different drawbacks

Wdym? By the point you start fighting shakedown constantly kiryu should be op enough to deal with him, Majima actually have more trouble with it, can tell you this, I always do no damage with kiryu, but not with Majima (also, Majima have the shakedown with the most health)

First punch is countered, 2nd one is a small glitch where Kiryu is invinsible from that one hit after the counter.

rush, beast and dragon of dojima are way stronger against shakedown. beast's running grab and 2rd lvl heat's dodge grab deals big damage on him. with rush you just do continuous damage and dodge around and he'll be forced to do red flashing attacks (attacks used during getting hit) with dragon of dojima you just spam twist counter which does insane damage and fill up your heat bar. it literally counters his every move except the kick

Pure brawler only? (No health boosts from other styles)
