These old homes are tanks, seriously

Very pretty lot. I like the remodeling choices(except for the kitchen backsplash, which was a little too busy for me). I just can’t get past how low the ceilings are. Coming from a house with 13 foot ceilings to one that low would feel very claustrophobic. Might be a great choice for someone who doesn’t want to climb a ladder to change light bulbs😝

Maybe good for hobbits? Yes all these older homes in the yacht club are really low ceilings unfortunately. And you cannot open up the roof because the trusses are not meant for that. I agree with you..

Definitely worth it. I would buy it if I had the money. Put in a pool and a little merging or transition area fixes. I've seen some places like this where the rehab was less or equal to for way more money.

I agree, and I think the seller would go down quite a bit more to make a deal.

The term "lanai" originates from Hawaii and is commonly used to describe a covered patio or veranda. I never knew that until I just looked it up to respond to your comment.

Nice house. What do you think is the yearly home owners insurance?

Assumable home plus flood maybe 4k a new policy… twice that
