Dhul Qarnayn was doing interstellar travels. So Gog Magog are not on Earth. Please focus on his 3 journeys in Surah Kahf. 1st - Setting place of sun in space where he witnessed sun setting in spring of dark matter (black hole). I have a question; Starting by Prophet Issa (AS), how many people will he take since his ascending location will be in a country that would be expensive to access for other Umma across the globe? Also, i don't underatand since the angel would be the one giving and denying Maj'uj entrance on earth. There's absolutely no doubt in what Qura'an has stated. Yajuj and Majuj will appear near end of times. My questions are on translation: 1. Does "Sadain" mean mountains? 2. Mountains are multi dimensions. North face, South face etc. Can a wall between two mountains on single dimension block passage? To my understanding it's "probably" not mountains. Allah knows best. I would request the meaning of "Saddain" maybe checked in detail.

I have to make a few observations & opinions on this. It's an open forum, after all. 1st, commentators, lecturers, scholars, etc, that refer to this "Pre-Islam" notion have to qualify it and be more precise. Otherwise, it causes confusion and raises doubts. Islam, as in absolute true Monotheism (with the core pillars of faith), is the only true religion of God/Allah and has always been there from day 1. Yes, perfected and complete with the final revelation and Prophet (pbuh) in Arabic and termed Islam - you can put it this way. But even so, all of the Messengers and Prophets were on this path and as so their righteous followers. Go look this up in several verses of the Quran, and how the term "Muslim" is used to Abraham, Isaac, Yaqub, Jesus (pbut). And of course Allah has he best names and attributes, so other languages will differ in referring to Allah in name and dialect I.e Aramic, Hebrew, slight variations. So Dhul Qarnayn was a Muslim as he worshipped and praised God alone. The Br refers to his era and belief in Monotheism and that he referred to God by a name, in his own language, and dialect, which is fine as long as it's referring to God Almighty alone. Second, it just sounds Dhul Qarnayn's time on earth was long ago, very long ago. Because if many Prophets before Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) mentioned of the Dajaal, then it is not inconceivable that several also mentioned of the Gog and Magog people. If so, that would imply that he was around thousands of years before modern recorded time. But as ever, Allah knows best.

The Quran says there are 2 types of ajat: Muhkama and Mutishabiha. God and Magog are humans, in the Hadith it says 'Banu Adam'. My interpretation is that the army will come out of Sham (Israel) and he is given the Bejqa. The number 1, most important task of Iman Mahdi, amongst many tasks is to positively identify The Messiah. Nabi Yahya, St. John The Babtist, had the identical task, amongst several important tasks, but the positive identification and announcing of Jesus as The True Messiah was the main task.

Yajuj and majuj story is not problematic at all if someone search in what all ancient scriptures has to say about who they are , the ancient historians like Isidore of ishbiliya ( seville ) named them by the denomination majuj would use to call themselves in the 4 th century .. you should also have some understanding of transliteration of proper names from one language to an other ( example yusef , youssouf, joseph, joe , guisepe , gepetto… are the same name) just as magog is a transliteration of a name in greek from an Aramaic earlier version, while yajuj is the Arabic transliteration.. actually you heard of one other version of the name In the 6th century frankish language, the saxon language and some other nowadays European languages.. the ancient historian knew who they are and you can check that in their books but i am afraid you all are still too much influenced by mainstream scholars to accept the true, yajuj and majuj are just in front of your eyes, the most scary about that issue is that none will accept who they are ( they are not the Chinese not the Turks Allah forbid) but you admire them so much to accept who they are !!

I know not that Adam (AS) spent time on other planets? Where did you get this from. It mentions very clearly that after his exit from paradise he was sent to earth. However, there is a notion/theory/opinion that these gog and magog people that are are trapped behind this wall, are not just behind any wall, but a time warp/hole which we cannot see now with our eyes but towards end of times when they're released the wall/warp will break.
