    Hi. You can make it change tracks (next, prev). All you need to do is change 2 smd resistors. They are near Bluetooth antenna. One of them 15 Kom, change it to 0 or shorten it with a wire. Another one is 50Kom Change it to 6.2Kom or 6,8 Kom resister. Third resistor is 3 Kom, don't touch it. After this manipulations you will be able to change track (short press left or right). Volume - + (long press left or right). If it's hard for you to find out resisters to change, i can sand you a photo.

    Is there a way to lower the pair tone volume, or just eliminate it. It’s a scary loud tone at power up.

    Maybe the pause button on the side can be programmed in the phone settings? Just like the volume etc. buttons on earphones. 1 click for pause, 2 clicks for previous, 3 clicks for forward. Maybe not, but i wanted to mention it, as i often forget to set these settings.

    what is the current output in order to play two 8 ohm speaker at 12 volts?

    It would be nice if it could skip tracks, but it's not a dealbreaker for me. I have several old 12V wall warts sitting around, and it shouldn't be too hard to rig up a barrel connector if I don't want to cut the wires on the wall wart. According to the icstation website, you can push it up to 30W with 24V, 4 ohm speakers, and a heatsink! Now to find the right enclosure to make this look like a finished product! There were lots of comment suggestions on the prior bluetooth unit with USB that locked up when you tried to play track 9999. Did you ever get that one going again?

  • @12voltvids

    @12voltvids

    It needs 8 to 24 volts. So the easiest and safest for a student project would be a 9 volt battery.

    The power usage was under 2 Watts at 24V. Does that mean the claim of 2*15W output is nonsense? I don't know enough about audio amps to say.

  • @12voltvids

    You mean 2 amps. 2 amps at 24 volts is 48 watts so considering efficebcies and losses 2x15 is totally doable.

    I meant 24V x 60mA (from the bench power supply readout) which made me think the module was only drawing about 1.4W.

    I have quite a bit of hummm that is independent of the output volume. As soon as phone/computer connects the hum shows up. The best way to test is to bring up the volume to max on the phone, and then lower it on the amp.
