Man, i miss X to this day. He was so versatile and wonderful at what he did and SO YOUNG. too soon

Interesting thing about this song, what he speaks on he wanted the masses to hear, so for his music video for "Look at Me!" he cut the song in the middle, and played Riot, with a whole music video production for it. Super respectable because if I'm not mistaken, Look at Me! was like his most popular song at the time.

Oh yeah it was his biggest at the time. That famous mugshot was taken a few weeks before look at me released. Eeeveryone in middle-highschool was listening to it and when he got out he blew up. Following the hype, instead of releasing more hype music he released 17

Should definitely do train food for a great story telling track after this one, if you want his technically first song you should listen to vice city. he's really one of those artist that you need to start from the beginning and go through his entire catalog to see his progression. he can go from melodic rap, to hype, to lyrical, to screamo. his diversity is crazy
