I use this for live shows! I hate lugging gear, so I love that I can throw it in my purse. One time I knocked the receiver during a show though and it switched channels on me mid song hahaha. Luckily my guitarist sings backups so I stole his mic lol

Nice setup! 🤘 Mine is very similar. Sennheiser e945 + xvive U3. 😁 However, my Xvive broke after few months of use, so the shop had to replace it. You see...The gravity just keep pulling that jack, and it is only a matter of time when something will get loose.

Thanks for the review. I think you covered a lot of useful information, but I also think you missed some crucial stuff like a test it in-hand, i/o in the stand. I'd have liked to have seen on how well it performs when you're actually moving around on-stage. Especially when moving between similar wireless equipment for guitars, in-ears, etc. As you pointed out: these systems (all) communicate on the same frequency as wifi/BT, so I'd be interested to know whether these interfere with each other. Also what I can't find in any of the tech info with this set (or with the Boss or the Sennheiser) is: what's the weight of the unit? How much heavier does this thing make the microphone? What does it do with the balance? So for me, this was a bit of a dry run... Sorry.

Are there any systems like this that run on AAs? I don't want integrated batteries on my wireless mic, if the battery goes flat during a show, it's game over for wireless! And *when* (not if, *when* ) the battery degrades after a few years to the point it doesn't reliably last long enough for a set anymore (5 hours is already weak to boot), I can throw away the whole darn thing instead of just swapping some rechargeable AAs, this is so stupid! And given how big this dongle it, they should have been able to fit two AAs in there! Yet, every comparable wireless system also seens to be infected with the "let's make degradable components non-replaceable" fad 🙄
