    Great review as always! One thing I'm curious about : Can you slide a longer peice of matierial (let's say 1/4 inch acrylic) under the P2 to engrave/cut a smaller design on a part of it when you don't have the riser?

    Technically yes. There is about 25mm of rubber feet under the P2 so you could remove the tray and still have room for the 1/4 piece under it. ight not have a ton of room for a honeycomb but the piece would fit.

    Great review, many thanks. Some great features. How efficient is the water cooler (built in to the unit I assume)? The tank does not look to be very big, and I would be concerned that the co2 tube would overheat, since my garage temperature can reach the upper 90s F in the summer, and rarely drops below the 80s in our FL winter. Also high humidity. Air conditioned workshop not currently an option for me, which is one of the reasons I've not gone down the budget co2 route.

    According to the manual it should operate fine in up to temps of 86F. Not sure how much you can go over that but this is what it lists in the manual. The machine works properly at the temperature of 10°C to 30°C and can be stored properly at the temperature of 10°C to 45°C. Do not operate it at a temperature lower than 0°C.

    I was considering buying a larger more industrial style machine, but I might switch to this instead; if the treadmill extension is as good as I hope. I'd like to know of any limitations with that; can it work in conjunction with the active z height adjustment? For example to engrave a skateboard, which is long but also curved?

    Hello. I don't think those 2 functions can work at the same time. They are even different "workspaces" in Creative Space so they can't function together. One is called Curved Process and the other is called Conveyor Feeder.

    Can you turn off the Fan and use an External Fan and is the machine Quieter than a Glowforge ?

    Hi , thanks for the vid! It seems there is more charcoal with the p2 when cutting compare to other machine. What are your thoughts on the matter? That can is more of a problem when you want to engrave cut.. can you do photo comparison between two machines on that matter? Thanks in advance and keep doing great reviews!

  • @BusterBeagle3D

    Thank you! Yeah like I was saying in the review the spot size is larger then in a diode machine so there is a little more char then you would get with a less powerful machine. I suppose you could lower the power and slow the machine down but that somewhat defeats the purpose of a CO2 machine which most people get for that faster cutting.

    @@BusterBeagle3D thanks for your prompt reply! How does the p2 air pump? Do you think with a better air assist pump you can get less charcoal?

  • @BusterBeagle3D

    @BusterBeagle3D

    Жыл бұрын

    @@itaiachiaz5524 There is an adjustable air pump but it's hard to gauge exactly how powerful it is since it only turns on when the job starts so there is no way to know if it's strong or not. In creative space you can set it from 10% at it's lowest for engraving and as high as 100% for cutting but it's not easy to hear the difference between those two values when it turns on. I just hear an air compressor turning on. You might be able to figure out a way to route your own air hose through it but I haven't messed with that yet.

    Do you think cleaning of the machine will be ‘easy’? I have a glowforge and cleaning the air assist is a pain.

  • @BusterBeagle3D

    You should be able to remove and clean the nozzle fairly easily. Not sure exactly why you would as most of the soot would be on the outside and could just be wiped down. Even while engraving the air assist is on at least a little to keep positive pressure in the nozzle which should help it stay clean.

  • @gaiustacitus4242

    The nozzle can easily be removed to clean the inside using a Q-tip or pipe cleaner. The most tedious part is cleaning the mirrors in the rear since this requires removing a cover that is retained by screws and secured by a clip mechanism. The exhaust fan is also easy to remove and clean.

    Great review, Ryan! What a machine, I decided to cancel an order for a diode laser I ordered and went for the P2 instead. Thanks for your honest feedback as always and in case you see this comment.. Any chance you're going to stuck up on these Lego style aluminum sprues again? Been checking your shop for those for the last couple months hoping to get a bunch. :)

    I'm sorry but I don't have that machine. I would suggest checking to see if there is a Facebook Group dedicated to that machine, I'm sure there is. Those groups are great places to look for help and get tips starting up.

    At 8:19 you mention 196DPI, did you mean lines per CM?

  • @BusterBeagle3D

    @BusterBeagle3D

    Жыл бұрын

    No I meant DPI. Most other programs use DPI so it's just how I listed it since I burned two of those images through Lightburn. Creative Space is the only one I know of that uses Lines per Cm but the closest thing would be 80 Lines Per CM. It's actually 77
