Unlike most of their new wave contemporaries XTC possesed expert and complex musicianship. Check out Andy's crazy chording mixed with Dave Gregory's skillful leads along with Colin Moulding's all over the fretboard bass work all along with Terrry Chambers' solid precise drumming and you'll know what I mean.

There's the live quality of the band to marvel at, and also, how pleased Andy seemed to be with everything. He's clearly enjoying himself. Too bad the "fear of performing" crept up and removed that entire facet of their life as a band.

This video led me to do a deep dive into XTC and place them atop of my list of favorite bands. "Yacht Dance" with its Classical, quirky folk, bouncing bass slides & flanged drums changed my life in ways I can't quite explain just yet. And "No Thugs.." is the perfect, immaculate performance. Thank you for sharing this video!

Brilliant, but I think some pedantry is required regarding the introduction. As anyone from the area would know if you went from Swindon to Chippenham you'd be travelling in the wrong direction towards Bristol rather than towards London.
