XPG Lancer Blade DDR5 6000 (low price DDR5 7600 capable DRAM?)

Ғылым және технология

XPG is back at it again with yet another DDR5 Kit. This time it's supposedly more affordable than their other memory SKUs and is meant mostly for those use air coolers who need low profile memory.
The intention is noble, however the execution may have missed the mark slightly. That said, it overclocks really well and if indeed the price is reasonable, these could be one of the most affordable ways to bag yourself a DDR5 7600 capable kit.

$124.99 at Amazon in the USA, though for the same price one could get Team Delta RGB 7200CL34.

Yeah I was concerned about that. For that price you can get regular Lancer DRAM with the same timings. I'm honestly not sure why at that price you'd choose these

Hello, just wanna mention im glad i came across this channel. Great content. I purchased this today for my MSI B650M-A wifi motherboard. Do you think this mobo supports those higher voltages for higher clockspeeds? and did you manually overclock yours?

Awesome stuff. Thanks for the comment and sentiments. Well I'd say you're more than fine with the board. To get the most form this memory within reason 1.4V is more than enough. Should be able to take you to the same 7600 provided board allows, but it won't be because of DRAM voltage supported.

Hi again. This is my fist time building a computer. To get the 7200 do you need to do manual overclocking or is there a profile on the bios by default with that option. I have an asus tuf z790 plus motherboard that advertise speeds up to 7200.Thanks

Just load the XMP profile and it'll work, should be under AI tuner option.

Yes, should be no problem. Always check the QVL of the motherboard to be sure.

Hello. I have the same model, 2 stick of 6000. I installed them on my Asus Z790-F Strix and they worked well, no crashes and no blue screen. But I experienced micro stutters in gaming. I changed them to auto/4800 and the microstuttering stopped. What would you reccomend me to do ? What can I change in the XMP profile? Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of that happening, perhaps the memory is unstable at the default XMP speed, but I doubt it. Maybe more voltage tot eh DRAM may help 1.35 to say 1.4V

Hi. I already bought the kits. XPG Lancer Blade RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6400MHz CL32 Black 1.4V - Desktop Memory - INTEL XMP (AX5U6400C3216G-DTLABRBK) Do you think that It will perform better than the 6000 one? In Canada this is costing $130 Canadians dollars, approximately $98 US dollars.

Oh yeah for sure, especially if both the 6000 and 6400 are A-die, the 6400 is most certainly a better bin.

i think it's a kit only for AMD users. I don't see any other option at 6000 MTs with CL30... and I don't see too many people pushing the RAM harder than this point, right?

It should work for AMD and Intel as well, even if the EXPO or XMP profile is missing.

XPG Lancer Blade vs. Klevv Cras V for the same price and the same cl, which one should i pick?

Hmm I'd take the KLEVV if only because it's likely to have better ICs. Now if it was XPG Lancer (NOT Blade) I'd say Lancer any day.

@@TheOverclockerMagazine got the klevv! Well, the non blade variant sadly was CL40 (some say 32 but then again that still means its a samsung die)

That's unfortunate, however you ended up with a memory with better IC's so there's that.
