Nice to see you give a lived-in review of this tablet, guys! I've been using an XP-Pen Artist 22 for the past two years, upgraded from a Wacom Intuos4 (4x6"), and still loving it. The pens that shipped with my XP-Pen tablet seem to be of a thicker variety than what you've been using, actually comparable to my Intuos pen. XP-Pen's customer service is also pretty good; when the screen died on the first tablet (had to have been only a couple of months into ownership), they had me send the faulty tablet back and they quickly shipped me a new one, free of charge and hassle. My only criticism, considering the price gulf between this and a comparably-sized Cintiq, is the OSD menu seems unfinished, and could probably use another navigation button. Overall, I'm satisfied for just under $500.

It would be really cool to see a direct side-by-side comparison between the new XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 (Gen 2) and the Cintiq you have. Many artists are recommending the new 16" XP-Pen, so it would be incredible to have a direct comparison of it with the Wacom, which is still the main market reference for artists.

I was looking for a second monitor to improve my experience with my hobby (I make scenes in DAZ Studio and am in and out of Blender and an image editor very often). I happened to see this video as I am subscribed to your channel and thought - great idea: a pen display as a second monitor. 21.5 inches is a reasonable size so I bought the XP-Pen 22 (Second Generation) and I'm now waiting for delivery. Thank you for your honest review. Maybe you could do a video on if and how a pen can be used in DAZ Studio?

My biggest concern with any of these is durability. Even normal monitors can sometimes just die within a couple years, and they're so much cheaper in comparison. As someone without any tablet but looking to buy, I'm thinking I will start with a normal non-screen tablet and hopefully it'll be satisfying to use without wishing I had just spent more on one of these.
